I lost my Roku Tv remote that came with my TV. So I needed a replacement. This one works great. Easy set up right out of the box. I actually like it better the the one that came with the TV. My friend bought a Roku box at a garage sale with no remote. I recommend this one. She doesn’t have a smart TV. We were able to set this remote up for her Roku and as a universal remote for her TV. The website for the remote has a video on how to set up the universal remote feature for any TV. Not hard at all. Just need to visit the website for the programming steps. Her TV was much older and we got it to work. I’ll keep recommending this Roku remote and brand to anyone who needs a second remote. Also I recommend the bright colored cover. It keeps me from losing my remote more often. I think the first original TV remote slipped into the trash can by the couch and got thrown away. Now I’ll be able to quickly see if that happens again.Great product.

Upon reading the reviews of this product I discovered one that noted the Roku TV was much more responsive to this remote. This is true. The previous Roku remotes had to be pointed at the TV just right or it wouldn't respond very well. This remote is the type of remote that should have come with the Roku TV. I highly recommend this remote. Additionally, it comes with a rubber/silicone sleeve and makes the remote easy to handle. All the buttons (volume & mute) are on top unlike the original remote which are on the side which made the remote difficult to handle without hitting the volume up/down or mute buttons. If you're looking for a Roku TV remote replacement, look no further.

Technical support was amazing for this inexpensive (i.e. $14) gadget. Tech support helped me configure this replacement Roku remote so that it would control the volume of my Sony STR-DN1080 receiver. After belatedly realizing that my new Sonos soundbar was not compatible with the RF remote that comes with my TCL Roku TV I began looking for workarounds. When I saw this IR Roku remote (IR remote is required for Sonos Ray soundbar, which connects to the TV via an optical connection) I decided to give it a try. Works perfectly! Saved my sound system with a simple solution at a good price.

My husband set this up in no time at all. 1000 times better than the original remote!!!! Worth the money!!!

I have 2 roku tvs. One of the remotes that came with the TV broke (hence me buying this one in Sept 2021) and the other remote still works BUT it's buttons are Netflix, Hulu, Disney & Vudo. Whereas this remote from Amazon has Netflix, Hulu, Prime & YouTube which are my real top 4 apps. Soooo I'm writing this review because I want another one since it'll have all the apps I go to.

That u have options to choose different streaming stations with one touch buttons and u can assign a different Streaming station and u have options to watch live tv or choose home
