socket change over
i brought 7 and installed six. very good and easy to install. had no issues so far and is perfect for my maisonette. the reason was i chose this is we had too many extentions and a couple of our old sockets were cracked. still need to do a few more sockets. i was glad when i changed them as one socket was badly burnt on the inside.

Care to be taken during installaton
The 4 gang socket does the job. Just one issue I had concerned the connecting of the supply wire/cables, do not unscre the wire fixing screws to far because if they fall out they are very fiddly getting the screw back into position. This has been mentioned before.

Good socket
Feels solid and durable but does stick out from wall more than expected. It’s ok though and works well. Surprisingly, once screwed to the back box it is really solid on the wall and the extended side does not flex at all when removing plugs.

Simple Job
Take the two gang socket off and just screw the four gang socket in its place. As simple as that. I do like it has a built in fuse and all sockets are switched.

Poor Quality
I guess you get what you pay for. Wiring screw was cross-threaded before I started and one of the switches does not operate properly. If only BG made one, I'd pay more for their level of quality. That said, its doing a job on items that are permanently switched on and plugs not removed.
