Since 4 years I have been looking for a solution for calling. TWS was a waste and there were no promising results even when you pay a heavy price. After plenty of research, I purchased this Asus for ₹2600 and it's been an absolute delight to use.I use these with the Moondrop Chu In-ear monitors. The mic on this IEM is very sensitive to the slightest sound. But when paired with the ASUS AI noise cancellation dongle, it turns into a beast of an earphone for calls.Here are a few observations with this dongle.1. The wire felt like the weakest part, so I had it braided to protect it from damage.2. The Noise cancellation is hands down the best for outdoors. It can be used even on a two wheeler, it still sounds crystal clear as long as the mic is close to your mouth. (I had a conversation while riding on an empty road at 80kmph).3. Indoors it's very good unless there are conversations happening immediately next to you. Otherwise it works very well.4. I use it for phone calls and it works perfectly from the time it's plugged into my phone. I didn't have to tweak anything in the settings or download any additional software.5. It can be used with a laptop too, for which there's a USB connector given in the box.Overall I am the happiest using these and have finally found my peace after years of searching for the best calling solution. I'll update this if I observe anything further.

Despite of what other reviews or YouTube videos may say, this adapter works 100% without a software. If your laptop/desktop is a fairly new device and you have Windows on it, then thats the only pre-requisite.Noise cancelling capability is decent. Tried simulating fan noise, fan noise + mobile speaker noise, steel bottles clanking together noise. There are two types of noise cancellation though. One when you speak and the other when you don't speak. When you dont speak surrounding environment noise can get in. When you do speak it cancels out 80 to 90% of daily ambient noise.Best part: Purchasing this can convert any headset into a noise cancelling one. No need to purchase an expensive headset and then maintain it with care for life.The headset adapter does however depend on the OS of the device. The adapter interacts with the base audio drivers and installs its own drivers too. The drivers are mostly compatible with Windows. I have not tried it with a phone and don't intend to. My take is it will most likely work. The adapter does not work if you're using it with Chrome OS. It may not work if you're using it with Linux too.

I used to have heavy background noise on my teams, zoom calls. After starting to use this, its perfectly clear. zero background noise. However I have given 4/5 for the following reasons :1. This will only work with a 4 pole TRRS 3.5mm jack. Please make sure your mic 3.5mm jack is TRS or TRRS. I discovered this only after buying and thus had to buy a TRS to TRRS adapter like this one (https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B08VDTR7CN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). They should have made it clearer in their packaging/product description.2. The setup instructions should have been clearer. I got to know from You-Tube that there is a software you have to download to make it work3. This works best with headphones that have a separate mic and headphones jack. I found out that sound in headphones is not that great when using this adapter. So the configuration that works for me is - audio in as "asus noise cancelling mic", audio out as "in line headphones". The jack of my headphones is plugged directly to my pc. the jack of my mic is plugged into this adapter. Result - audio perfect, mic perfect.Overall its an amazing product for noise cancellation of mic.

Product worked only for short time and after that didn't work. Waste of money. Don't purchase

This is a life saver works out of the box, no additional software driver needed. I can take teams call in traffic without needing to repeat myself. It changes the voice a bit but I guess that's fine since it's a gen 1 product, it doesn't impact the call quality. Overall well taught product by Asus.

This works like a charm trust me!!Though it looks costly but it does the job so effortlessly perfect!It comes with Type C - Type A port . It has support with windows, mac, iPad and some type c supported phones (no iPhone support)It reduces maximum noise from your background ambience while attending teams calls, all you have to do is simply plug your 3.5 mm headset in one side and plug the usb in computer (no need to install the software),If you want to adjust the power of noise reduction you can install the software and choose the level of reduction (low, medium, high) it auto saves the setting in your device and that’s it so whenever you plug in any other windows or Mac it follows the same setting.

I tried using this to work from home on my work laptop. Initially I tested with my friends and they couldn't hear background noises to some extent. Like sound of a bathroom flush across re room etc. But, I'm not sure if this was due to this adaptor. Sometimes people could hear the noises and sometimes they couldn't.To confirm that this is working as i expected it, i Called Asus helpline. They confirmed that this device will only work when you install the drivers it supports. So don't get confused by other reviews.Who should buy this? - If you're a creator of some sort or if you work from home and you're allowed to install third party drivers on to your work laptop, go for it and give it a try.I personally, wasn't allowed to install any third party drivers on to my work laptop hence it defeated the whole purpose of buying this in the first place.It could be a different case for you for sure. Even when I used this on my personal laptop with the driver, ppl could hear some noises across the room even on higher setting. So I'm not sure if this is worth buying for work from home situations to be precise. You might wanna buy active noise cancelling neck bands rather than this.

I'd give 5 stars to this product because the product is great. I wish I could reduce some stars for the ASUS laptop I purchased, which only works with this adaptor for 3.5 mm jack earphones. I tried other options with my laptop but they all couldn't filter the noise that came through my earphones. But this product solved it.

Me gustó, cancela bien el ruido externo, teniendo Alexa con música a una distancia de un metro con volumen alto, no se escuchaba en los audios, conversaciones, gritos externos los eliminó por completo.Lo que no elimina al 100% son los ladridos y los aplausos, si se encuentran a una distancia corta no logra suprimirlos.Aún así vale la pena que lo adquieran. Espero sea útil.

I am able to take meetings in a noisy cafe with fairly loud music playing and my voice comes through clearly! It definitely changes the sound a bit, but there's going to be some quality loss when it's filtering out so much noise. I think if you work remotely and you like working in cafes, this is a must have. I actually went looking for a product like this a couple years ago and it didn't exist yet. Glad it does now!Remember, it only works with headsets with a single 3.5mm jack, not USB headsets. It's working fine in a pretty old version of Ubuntu linux for me. Also, I'm not sure why some people complained about the output audio quality, it sounds better than my laptop's sound card to me.

It doesnt work with my phone headphone, nor my headphones i use on the laptop. So a pretty useless purchase.
