Spinning Rod Holder for Bicycles and ATVs 1-1/4” Diameter – Model CR1

I used the recommended rod holder from Lectric Ebikes and the holders kept coming loose while riding. The vibration would always loosen the screws. This rod holder is so solid and easy to attach to the Lectric Ebike!Much cheaper than the Lectric version and so simple to attach.

Installed on a Sun Baja 7 wide tire cruiser with disc brakes. Overall this is a very good product comprised of good components and it should meet most needs and expectations. Here’s what I learned that may help you:The tube accommodated the butt of my spin fishing rods but neither the reel stem of my Van Staal 150 nor my Shimano Stradic 5000 so I used a utility knife and sandpaper to enlarge the channel in the tube.The U-Bolts did not fit my front forks so installed in rear. Used black electrical tape on U-Bolts to match and protect fame. Use a 7/16 socket for easy installation. Check to see if your reel handle will impede pedaling before installing. My ultralight series 1000 (tiny) spinning reel arms are even too wide for the factory slit.I used my bench grinder to widen it….now all fits well.Really solid mount. Holds Rod tight!

Very sturdy. Takes Very little time and effort to install. I purchased 2 of them for my 50cc scooter and I am very happy with how they worked out.

Everything worked great except for the fact that I had to cut the pointed knob on the opposite side of the reel on the rod to get it to slide down in.

Son loved this, can ride bike now without having to worry to hold fishing pole.

#1 the u bolts are too narrow for most bike forks and leaves only 1 option to mount near the rear wheel.#2 the u bolts should have a protectant already on them. Instead of directing you to use tape on them to keep from scratching the paint on your bicycle! How hard would it be to put a rubber coating on the curve of the u bolts?

This is a solid product. I wouldn't say it's fast to install, you probably wouldn't want to mount it on one thing and then the next trip mount it on another.... I mean it's only 4/5 nuts to attach, but for the price, just buy multiple, I'm going to. It worked really well for me. Adjustability is good too. I mounted it to the leg of a Coleman folding camp chair, works great

Solid and look great on my E-bike.

Exactly as ordered and expected. The u-bolts would damage the bike frame so inserted rubber tubing for added protection.
