This year I thought I would just buy the warming trays, which are safer and easier to use. It is a one time purchase, instead of buying the foil pans and sterno every year. I hate dealing with dumping out the water of the large foil pans. The size I am reviewing is about 24" x 9". This fits perfectly on the shelf of my bay window. I figure I can fit 2 13"x9" pans, with about 2" over the size of the warming tray. I gave it a 4 only because there isn't any temperature control, so for consumers who want a choice of heat, best to go with a different size. The tray will heat to 200 degrees. This is fine for me, as I want to keep the food very hot. Also, the food will stay warm after you turn the tray off. I do have other larger warming trays that have temperature control.
