Auris Blume HD Long Range Bluetooth 5.3 Music Receiver Hi-Fi Audio Adapter with Audiophile DAC, LDAC & AptX HD for Home Stereo, AV Receiver or Amplifier

I've been using this bluMe HD device for a couple of years, streaming first from an iPhone 12 Pro and now an iPhone 17 Pro Max. I'm streaming to a vintage Marantz 2226B connected to a pair of The Smaller Advents. The blueMe is connected to the Marantz via coax into the Aux input. Super impressed with the sound quality, streaming from Pandora, Spotify and Tidal.I've also tested it on a more modern setup - a Denon AVR960 connected to a Bowers Wilkins HTM6 S3 center channel and 4 M1 satellites. I've never loved Denon's HEOS app for music streaming - clunky UI, ongoing Pandora compatibility issues, separate app from the Denon app. Just a mess of a setup, even when it works which is intermittent. So streaming from a phone in the same exact manner using the same exact apps regardless of which system I'm listening to is a nice benefit. Sound quality with the bluMe HD on this rig is also outstanding.Setup is simple and the range is fantastic. My Marantz is on the middle floor of a 3-story, 4200 sq ft house. No problem staying connected from anywhere in the house or front/back patios. So no worries if I wander off with my phone to go do something while others are listening in the living room.WiiM Pro comparison: A colleague suggested trying out the WiiM Pro. Specs and reviews suggest this would be a higher performing lossless streaming solution vs. bluMe's bluetooth 5.3. I did a more or less side-by-side comparison of the bluMe and the WiiM Pro on my Marantz by connecting both devices simultaneously - the bluMe HD connected to the Aux input, the WiiM Pro connected to the Tape 2 input. For bluMe, I was streaming from Tidal's iphone app; for the WiiM, I was using the WiiM Home app to stream Tidal. Switching between the two was pretty clean - just pause one app, flip the Marantz input, hit play on the other app.I went back and forth listening to Of Monsters and Men (Wild Roses) and Fleetwood Mac (Silver Springs). It would take a few seconds to make the switch between devices, so a quick transition. I couldn't discern any significant difference in sound quality. Obviously there are a handful of devices impacting overall sound - phone, connection device, receiver, speakers. Whatever might be the limiting factor in sound quality, it didn't appear to be the bluMe vs. WiiM Pro. Both sounded great.Functionally, the WiiM Pro is more feature rich, but I don't use most of those features. And, like Denon's HEOS app, the connected services within the WiiM app have been reported to have occasional issues. I didn't experience any app integration issues, but the WiiM does periodically get "lost" on my wireless network and I have to repeat the 'add a device' process. Overall, I prefer to just use the Tidal, Pandora, Spotify app on my phone and not have to mess with another app/app integration.For the price, hard to beat the bluMe HD for simplicity and sound quality.

After a few months using this thing heavily, I'm in love.- Range: awesome. Obviously if you are sending through a bunch of walls it's going to lose signal pretty quickly, but otherwise I'm able to play music on my indoor speakers while sitting outside, a level below, with a window between, 40ft away. You won't be disappointed.- Sound quality: I have sharp ears and listen on high-end speakers (Focal 826s), and I'm shocked how crisp transients come through. It truly does feel "CD quality" even though I had my doubts going in. If there's loss or distortion in the high frequencies or subs, it's negligible, and complaints made by others about a loss in soundstage (or any major aspect of sound quality) were not noticeable. Plus, the BT sends so quickly between this and your device that there's almost no de-synchronization if you're watching movies or TV and want to make sure the characters' lips move in time with the dialogue.- Setup: took me 2 minutes maximum, including the time I spent pulling my system away from the wall to plug the cables into it. Didn't even have to read the manual. It's very intuitive and very responsive. Then I've got it plugged into my receiver so every time I turn my system on, I just wait a second and the thing pairs to my phone with a "beep" ; there's no hassle, no friction -- I don't even have to do anything. It works so well I forget about it almost entirely.- Build quality - while the plastic feels somewhat cheap on the power button, overall it's weighty and sturdy and I have no concerns that the physical hardware. Time will tell about the electronics, but my overall experience suggests that corners were not cut there either. Works perfectly every time. Only issue is the cables it comes with -- they feel pretty cheap and flimsy. They sound OK and it's easy to get new ones, but on a hifi-marketed device you expect a bit more attention to be paid to something like that.- Conclusion: there's nothing I truly dislike about this little guy. The cables aren't great but who really cares? It delivers on everything I hoped it would do, and it's worth every penny! Definitely recommend.

Yep! I really enjoy this HD Bluetooth DSC! I can listen to my home stereo system using my music apps on my cell phone. The sound quality is amazing, the setup and connectivity is very easy. I’m really enjoying my new found flexibility.

Works really well. the only thing is that it can only pair one at a time. I needed to keep at 2 devices. but I can live with that. the audio quality is outstanding. I needed my IPAD where I use Tidal HiRES to stream music to my mixer which then serves as music to my music gig. what impressed me is that IF the quality of the stream from ipad sucks, so does the output, BUT if the stream is beautifully done (Hi Res), then the output is very very good.I Highly recommend this product if you only need 1 single pair at a time. I also want to add the music is warm, not too detailed, but female and male vocals are close to surreal. NOW to be fair, It does not equal a direct DAC connection NOR is the internal dac of this Auris can match the sound of a my HoloAudio May DAC that runs about $5.0K.for simple BT connections and stream music via IPAD to a PRO Audio Music DJ system, this is Hard to Beatthat's why I gave these 5 stars even if I am disappointed that I cannot have to devices attached to it

I don't write reviews. I am old and well, pretty much old school. I have an antique analog stereo receiver. Use it to listen to local FM and play from collection of classic vinyl albums. Ran across this DAC and noted all the positive reviews. Thought I would give it a try and at this price I figured no harm done. It is fantastic. I am no techno wiz but plugged it in, connected it to the receiver , pared the blue tooth and bottabing. So easy! The sound is fantastic with very good stereo separation. Very happy with this purchase. New life for an old stereo.

Very pleased with this DAC. Connects easily and the sound quality is great. Only issue I face is it can “overdrive” the RCA input on my amplifier on certain songs causing distortion. Otherwise, its a great DAC and I would recommend this product.

I was very surprised to get this quality of sound from a bluetooth receiver that only cost $100.00. Setup and installation was so simple a 5 year old could do it. I will tell you though that the quality of sound you get from it is only as good as the audio equipment you connect it to. If you are using a weak amp or receiver and cheap speakers you are not going to get great sound. But a quality amp or receiver and quality speakers connected to this streamer will give you outstanding audio. The unit is very small but don't let that fool you. Great things can come in small packages.

A vast improvement over the little Monster brand receiver I had been using to connect my laptop to my stereo. High quality sound and better volume. Clear instructions, but not really needed. Had to make some adjustments to my 2025 HP computer but nothing unexpected. If you have any problems it will be in the computer, not the receiver. We stream classical music all day and evening without a hitch or glitch.

Though this is a bit highly priced bluetooth DAC, but it does a pretty good job in producing nice sound quality. I am using it with the digital optical option and the output is directed to a 5.1 converter and from there it leads to a very old F&D 5.1 channel home theater. I am liking the sound that it produces via bluetooth from either my Samsung phone or my IPad. But not to forget if someone is wanting a real audiophile grade audio with a dedicated special proprietor chip like a BurrBrown or Sabre then go for IFi Zen One Hi- Res. bluetooth DAC which is much more costlier than the Auris blume but provides sound which seems out of the world. No reconocía ningún dispositivo blotooth, imposible emparejarlo con el equipoPedimos al fabricantes si nos podía ayudar y no nos contestó la manera de emparejarlo. Por lo que atención al cliente de Amazon nos recomendó devolverlo y nos ha devuelto el 100% del costeUna lástima porque funcionaba bien

Dispositivo di facile utilizzo, connessione al mio tablet ipad veloce e affidabile, collegato le uscite analogiche a un preamplificatore NAD e l'impianto suona molto bene. Il ricevitore e' esteticamente gradevole, la disposizione dei connettori e' razionale e la gestione del power-down dopo la disconnessione dal tablet e' funzionale.

Appena connesso al mio Cambridge l'Auris Blume HD (con cavi RC Audio di qualità schermati e con connettori placcati oro) si è messo in ricerca di una fonte Bluetooth, ho cominciato ad appaiarlo con il mio iPhone. Comincio a riprodurre un po' di Jazz: Matt Penman (The Catch of the day). Ad un primo ascolto la qualità del suono è buona ma non sconvolgente (anche se decisamente meglio del 1Mii 3D Sound provato alcuni mesi fa e prontamente restituito) e necessita di una o due tacche di volume in più rispetto al collegamento diretto via cavo, sarà forse per la conversione e compressione dei file caricati su iPhone rippati da Cd e trasferiti tramite iTunes e compressi nuovamente dal trasferimento Bluetooth? Provo così ad appaiarlo al MacBook Pro (scollegando il Bluetooth da iPhone) e a riprodurre "The Secret of the Beehive" di David Sylvian direttamente dal NAS in formato FLAC... ed è tutto un altro mondo!!! Sembra di ascoltare il Cd o il vinile! Il suono è decisamente più dettagliato e pieno grazie al DAC interno all'Auris, i bassi profondi e coinvolgenti e la voce di Sylvian innegabilmente calda e suadente. Passo all'ascolto delle "Quattro Stagioni" di Vivaldi eseguite dai Musici di San Marco sempre in formato FLAC e l'effetto sinfonico da camera è immediato. Per verificare meglio la qualità sonora mi spingo a "La Sagra della Primavera" di Stravinsky con la direzione di Lorin Maazel e la Cleveland Sinphony Orchestra... l'incipit molto flebile al limite dell'udibile dei flauti dell'introduzione richiede un aumento di volume ma quando via via la musica esplode con gli archi e tutta l'orchestra bisogna correggere il volume verso il basso. Proverò con altre fonti e con diversi tipi di musica nei vari formati, molto dipende da come i file vengono digitalizzati.. alcuni files Mp3 che riprodotti dal telefono o dal computer sembrano "spenti", non so come ma riprendono vita sul mio impianto, se masterizzati su CD in formato audio e riprodotti dal mio CD Arcam che ha un doppio DAC potentissimo. Tuttavia tutto si supera riproducendo file in formato Apple Loseless (m4a) ed utilizzando il buon equalizzatore fornito da iTunes, ci si può sbizzarrire con le varie opzioni ed ovviare alla leggera mancanza di potenza aumentando i decibel del preamplificatore fino a superare in potenza le altre fonti sonore.In conclusione l'Auris Blume HD è un buon prodotto per impianti stereo Hi-Fi medi e/o commerciali per l'uso di tutti i giorni, mentre per gli audiofili forse meglio aspettare la commercializzazione del'Auris Blume Pro che ha un DAC notevolmente superiore l'ESS Sabre montato anche su alcuni Cambridge moderni.
