The tool works great.
The tool works great. It's a bit difficult to install because of the tight space under the Beetle and because of the plastic oil filter housing. Once in place, the tool works as intended to drain the filter housing.

Basic drain at low price
Worked well. No instructions. Took a while to figure out that you turn it all the way out to close with too screw. Then screw the larger screw on till tight. Then engage the other screw. Once I figured it out I was able to drain the filter and take it off without major leak

Good Product but needs instructions
This product could benefit a lot from some brief instructions. I thought it was intuitive so I just threaded it onto the filter housing and immediately ran into issues. What it should recommend is 1) Clean threads on the filter housing, 2) Thread black knob down, 3) Thread blue knob onto the filter housing, 4) Thread black knob up until oil starts flowing down the hose at the desired rate, 5) Wait until oil stops flowing, 6) Remove filter housing, 7) Before replacing filter housing make sure that the plastic nub at the bottom of the filter housing securely plugs the hole. I mostly bought this product to have cleaner oil changes but still made a mess because the product was not threading correctly due to dirt. If I didn't figure out step 7 I would have had an oil leak with the filter housing back on.
