This light was an easy, affordable update! The electric hanging chords are plenty long for either a vaulted ceiling or a higher ceiling. Our ceiling is 12 feet and we had to shorten these about 12" each. It is light enough to handle and so that makes the installation job easier. The three bulbs are LED 8000 lumens and shed adequate light during the evening darkness. All in all this is a quick installation, easy to put together (very little to put together) and great value. Previously we had a mediterranean-looking heavy thing. Voila! instant update!

Needed this style of light for over a staircase. Looked around town and internet, finding only a couple that seemed passable - both over $1,000. Then I came to Amazon and found this beauty for under $50! People notice it and comment on it's beauty and the delightful way the light prisms out through the globes. The electrician seemed to install it with ease. Highest recommendation!

This light fixture is nice and a fine quality for the price. It fitted perfect in my laundry room to go with my semi rustic theme. One negative thing is the instructions are not detailed enough. My husband was familiar with installing fixtures, so we didn’t experience any difficulties.

I really like the style of this light fixture. The wavy design of the glass shades project a neat-looking pattern on the ceiling. The cords are very long and can be customized to any length.One shade did arrive cracked and they are apparently unable to replace one broken part, so inspect closely before installing. We didn't notice the crack until we had a light bulb lit up inside it.

Love, love it. For the price, it’s very pretty and easy to install but the instruction was a little lacking. Don’t yank on any parts or cord, it can leave a small gap.

Looks beautiful up over the sink. Cord way too long for our needs and was hard to fold it under the cap but otherwise works great and looks beautiful

this light is great value for the money you spend for it. its easy to install and the bulb covers are made of glass. i would say that it puts out a lot of light for the light bulbs recommended and i wished that i had bought smaller then 40 watt bulbs . with the recommended style of bulbs it makes the unit to be like antique . a wonderful item and always fast delivery

The reasons for the three stars are that the product functions as designed but, as can be seen in the picture the instructions are virtually no instruction at all; and the installation is extremely difficult, at least for the casual homeowner handyman. Over the years I have installed or changed quite a few ceiling mounted electrical items such as light fixtures and ceiling fans. But this was a different beast.First, there was no instruction on how, or when to set the cord length. Finding no guidance in the package my wife and I decided that it would be necessary to set the lengths before installation since attempting to make an adjustment subsequent to installing would require undoing the fixture, leaving it hanging from the electrical wires, unsupported, then attempting to adjust the lengths working in close quarters.It took some time to figure out how set up the installation hardware absent instruction or pictures. Also, in what instruction there is there is no identification of the parts it refers to; i.e. the reference to a "metal nut cover." Having worked through these issues more or less successfully, the last hurdle was mounting the whole thing - blind. In the less than 1" space available to see (with your head pressing the ceiling) I found it impossible to align the mounting holes with the mounting screws. For one I used a piece of string tied to the screw, passed it through the mounting hole and, while holding the string perpendicular to the mounting bracket with one hand pushed the fixture on to the screw which now protruded through the mounting hole and then carefully attached the mounting nut. I was never able to access the other mounting screw because it continued to move in its slot while the fixture still rotated around the other mounting screw. I had to jury reg the last mount. Not the best solution but "good enough."If after understanding the issues above you still decide to purchase this item (because it functions as described, it fits your decor, you like the price, etc.) I have as suggestion that I think would have made it easier for my installation (if I had understood how it would all go together) and might help you.Everything else can be reasonably figured out without detail instructions or diagrams. But, I suggest that you take a strip of thin cardboard and create a template for the two fixture mounting holes, make the holes in the cardboard so as to match the hole placement on the fixture and place the template on the mounting screws (to hold them in their correct spacing location) before attempting to mount the fixture on them.
