4601 Downspout Extension, Black, New Type

Product was easy to install. I had to cut it to fit my downspout but it was well marked where to make the cut. I had to divert water at a 90 degree angle and the flexible tubing on the piece that connects to the downspout made that easy to do. The extension piece was easy to snap into place. My installation is not through my garden so I was happy to see that the extension lay flat on the concrete. Materials appear to be sturdy. It is easy to step over.

This new system helps disperse outflow from gutter downspouts. Instead of having to buy and constantly move a flat piece of plastic, this is built into the downspout extension. It comes ready to fit the smaller downpipes and it has an indention for cutting it to fit larger pipes, which I did. Excellent product and recommended.

I use these often, apparently too often as I have been told I cannot purchase any more of these by Amazon. I have received two different notifications on this. Funny/Sad at the same time.

I bought this hoping that it would both help me divert water flow and to disperse it at the same time. It does a great job of diverting the water flow, but unfortunately, for my needs, it doesn't have baffles in place to sufficiently disperse the water flow. The water comes out the end at almost the same velocity as it did from the down spout. Thus, the mulch gets washed away just as badly, just in a different place.

The downspout combo works well but not like the original spout I purchased from Lowe’s years ago. This one has a smaller end that attaches to the metal downspout and it has to be cut to fit on the larger end spouts. But it works well for the money

Used to funnel sump pump discharge away from house to the driveway. Does the job.
