This extremely lightweight hoodie is exactly what I was looking for. My main reason for purchasing this zip-front hoodie was for post-mastectomy wear because of expected limited ability to lift arms post-surgery. Most of my pre-surgery research for clothing strongly recommended a zip-front hoodie. However, my first reaction was that a hoodie would be much too hot to be comfortable in warmer weather. Imagine my relief when I discovered this lightweight alternative - with a zipper! My concern was that this hoodie might be too small due to several reviews indicating a snug fit. In fact, for me, the fit is true to size which was an enormous relief because at size 2X, there is no larger size available. This extremely soft hoodie will also be useful as my summer “restaurant” solution for restaurants that crank the AC up to frigid temperatures. This versatile hoodie is a great value for everyone. This jacket is quite comfortable, fits well, zipper works well and sleeves are right length. For those that are interested, this jacket is lightweight: about the same weight as a lightweight shirt which is what I was looking for. A jacket just enough "to keep the chill off". And it washes well. So, why only four stars? The pockets are a problem. They are not deep or big enough to securely hold a cell phone. And let's face it, in this day and age, every jacket should have pockets large enough to carry a cell phone.

First to get my biggest review pet peeve out of the way, my height, weight, and the size I buy, please try to add this info to your reviews It’s so helpful. I’m 5’5, weigh between 215 to 225, I am muscularly built so I wear a size 14-16 or L pant and a L to XXL in tops. I get these zip ups mostly in XXL but I also get the XL which I like when I want a little bit more of a fitted look. They aren’t to short, long, or tight for my height/build, blessed up top & bottom 😉 w/a bubbly booty and the XXL hits a couple inches above mid booty. I also get an XL which is about same length, obv a bit more form fitting in the right places, especially the waist but it doesn’t flare all weird at the bottom and the arms aren’t too tight. But I wouldn’t be able to comfortably zip an XL all the way up over the girls without uni-boob haha or just weird looking, but I prefer to wear both sizes zipped about 2 inches above my belly button anyways. I’ve been purchasing these hoodies for probably 10 years so obv I absolutely love them & they really helped bring my confidence back up after my body changed which then helped me to start trying other types of sweaters and tops and different outfits that I never would’ve thought to wear and how to style pieces differently to accentuate my gifts, that keep on giving 😉 They’re the perfect thickness, especially for women going through hot flashes 🥵 🪭 or if you’re naturally hot blooded rarrr lol They hold up well, regular wash/dry, they don’t pill, no zipper issues, they run true to size, perfect amount of stretch, comfortable med soft/thick cotton material. I like that I can wear these for a very casual lounge or work out look obv, & with a cami or v neck t-shirt under for a little flirt, w/leggings, shorts, flip flops etc or pair it with some cute jeans, a lace trim cami, casual jewelry, and a pair of low boots or even wedge sandals for a great “I made an effort” look lol And huge plus, they’re often on sale and you can’t beat a casual zip up for under $20 & even as low as $8 on sale. I know this is a long post, but these are all questions that I often have about tops especially zip ups & sweaters. I’m also a bit obsessed with these sweatshirts bcuz they gave me a huge boost of confidence, and helped me learn to embrace and style my fuller figure, when I really needed that. So needless to say, I absolutely love these & Hanes should hire me to be a spokesperson 😆 I hope my post helped answer some questions for people. Buy every color you love!! This is not a sweatshirt, which is what I thought I was getting. It's basically a long sleeved tshirt, very light weight. It's nice and good quality, but not a sweatshirt

Great light hoodie, kind of unisex though which is great as you can share it. Its soft and breathable. My only complaint is the hood seems a little shallow especially if you have a long hair. Still a great buy for the price.

I love cotton hoodies in every season. This is perfect even on the hottest summer day and it's practically my uniform when running to the gym and home along with wide leg linen pants. Ir's light but not sloppy, stands up well to frequent laundering and drying and did not shrink at all. I think I will buy some more just to make sure I have in case they decide to discontinue it. Please don't!

If you're looking for a cheap hoodie that's not very bulky or thick, this is the one. The pockets are not deep however and you cannot fit your keys or your phone in this hoodie. I got XXL which I'm an 18/20 top and it fits me perfectly but not very roomy. Only a tshirt under nothing more bulky like a sweater. It's very thin though and not sure how long it will last but nice for those cold Spring mornings that turn into a hot apocalypse in the afternoons. I am a vine Reviewer but I bought this with my own money in case you're wondering..

A lovely little jacket that's great for covering up on summer evenings or as an lightweight extra layer when needed. The material is quite thin but it's comfortable and easy to pack away in your bag if out and about.

I love these and have two or three. They are lightweight which is good for the summer, easy to throw in the car or in your bag in case of need.
