Childhood memories in a jar...
I was trying to find the scent for candles my parents burned at Christmastime when I was little, and after research, determined they must have been bayberry.After looking at several bayberry candles on Amazon, I selected this brand because it was soy, and scented with essential oils. I'm asthmatic, and artificial odors can cause me problems.The candle was well-packaged with bubble wrap, and the box it was in was well-padded within the Amazon packaging.Opening the lid, I could smell the candle without it being overpowering. It took me a couple of tries to get all three wicks burning - the candle fills up the jar so much that my exhalations were blowing it out!Once I got the wicks to stay lit, I set it on a cork coaster on my mantle and sat down to admire the tree, listen to Christmas music, and the candle's scent started to permeate the room. It's a pleasant scent, not too strong, but not weak, either. No acrid, smoky smell that some candles get.It's only been burning for two hours, but I think it has a long burn time ahead of it, so I can re-light it again and again. It's definitely an enjoyable scent for this time of year!Based on the quality of this product, I hope to try some others by this brand!

Wonderful
I bought this candle to help me forget that my Christmas tree is fake. It's very subtle, and it smells wonderful. My family even enjoys the smell and they're super picky about smells!

Not Christmas smelling… headachy too
Scent is not at all Christmasy and the name is Christmas tree. It’s a headachy “natural” ingredient candle. It’s a nice candle as far as looks go, but nothing special and cost isn’t justified. Would not buy from this company again.
