Why ryzen 5 5600x £400?

Please do not buy this for £400, wait a few weeks and you can get it at RRP price (£280). Do not encourage and let these scalpers profit. Let their inventory rot.

People set up bots to automatically buy all the stock and artificially increase the prices.

Why is this cpu listed at over £200 more than retail. that is 32gb ram or a decent chunk towards an x570 motherboard.

Scalpers buying up stock and put back online with a profit. Just wait and be patient. Got mine from Amazon for msrp.

Although a small number of these processors are available, the only people selling them are leeches who stockpiled when they were available so that then can extort huge amounts of money from customer by selling them during global shortages for twice the price (like now!). Unless you want to throw money down the toilet, wait a few weeks and get this at a decent price when supply catches up with the demand. Curry's sell them for £280 (normal price) but are currently out of stock so set notifications for when they are available again.
