Snaps into the Leviton matching faceplaces. Great color choices. *by S***N on February 25, 2018* This Cat6 Ethernet jack snaps into the matching Leviton faceplates. I use the Leviton 6-port faceplate in a 2x3 layout. Start populating with these jacks on the top row first, then work down. The faceplate says which way is UP.I use it with the Leviton punch tool. Everything works really well. It has attached stickers for type A and type B Ethernet wiring. Peel away the top sticker (B) to reveal the bottom sticker (A). Works great. It doesn't matter if you use A or B, but you have to be consistent -- each end of the wire has to be wired the same. For my house, many years ago I chose A.There is also a snap-on cable holder (shaped like a U) that helps hold the wiring in place. It isn't visible in the photo, but is a nice touch.I highly recommend these. I especially like the large variety of colors available. And they look great.FYI, I bought 1000 ft of cat 6 wire from Amazon for 90 dollars. For perspective, 100 ft will cost 40 dollars at Home Depot.
