Great for large adults
My height is 6'5" and I weigh 250 lbs. Took me a while to find a chair that would fit me and hold my weight. This camping chair holds me fine and is pretty comfortable. I purchased this chair for mainly Boy Scout Troop and Crew camping. So far I am very happy with it. I have been sitting on it every day and testing it before I go to Boy Scout Northern Tier Canoe Base. I will update this review when I return if I am displease with this chair. I was worried when I first sat in it because my scouts were gasping when the back support poles bent but they straightened out once I was settled. Carrying bag looks like it was made to attach to a backpack so I am very pleased with that. Easy to assemble. The head rest pad is great and fits me perfectly. See you on the trails. ***** Update ******* This chair survived a very brutal BSA Northern Tier camping trip. Very light and easy to carry and whenever I got up a scout would sit in it. Only problem I had is the feet sink into wet ground and it needs a wider foot. Hope this helps.

Great chair but defective...now resolved.
I received the Odyssey Trek camping lounge chair from Amazon on time, as always. I was excited to try it out to see if it really would hold me as I am 6'5", 225. I opened the package and when I rolled out the chair and bundle of tubes, I was happy to see that the feet were the "flying saucer" feet pictured with the flamingo chair but not in the illustrated black chair that I ordered which had straight feet. However, when I opened up the bundle of tubes making up the frame, a number of tubes fell on the floor. When I inspected the unit it became apparent that the shock cord holding the pieces together had snapped. I proceeded to assemble the chair anyway to see how it would work for me. While it is quite low for a tall person to get up out of, it is very comfortable for what it is. As usual for me, being so tall, the head rest is too low to be of use. Not a deal breaker as I expected it. It is amazing how such a light chair can hold that much weight. I immediately checked back on Amazon to see if I could get a replacement but the black model is now out of stock and not available. Concerned that I might get a flamingo (read pink) chair as a replacement or worse yet, just a refund, I decided that I would keep this chair and just try to find some shock cord of better quality to replace all of the the cord in the chair and be done with it. It seems that the quality of the chair will allow it to last for some time with this revision/repair. Customer Service, once they contacted me, was very responsive and replaced the chair. Well done.

I am 5' 11" and it is just a little too short to hold my head/neck comfortably. I had to buy the Big Agnes chair ...
This is 4 or 5 stars IF you are 5' 9" or shorter. I am 5' 11" and it is just a little too short to hold my head/neck comfortably. I had to buy the Big Agnes chair for more than twice the price to accommodate my height. Pros: It is light, inexpensive, and can be set up on slightly uneven ground easily. Nice built in pillow. Well made. Cons: Too short for > 5'9", needs hard ground to set up (sinks in sand). The Velcro wrap strap is a little too short.

light chair for big guys.
Excellent chair. I"m a big guy (315 lbs). this seat holds my weight with ease. very comfortable, the headrest is a nice touch. I have managed to fall asleep in this chair a couple of times already. no real directions but this chair is super easy to assemble. The legs spring into form as soon as you open the velcro strap and you just gotta piece together a couple of semi attatched poles and then just put the seat on the frame. It sits a little lower to the ground than i had hoped but its not a big deal. It's best suited for solid ground unless you get tennis ball type ends for the chair so the legs dont dig into the dirt. At less than half the price of a comparable Helinox chair this chair is a no brainer. I may have to buy a couple more for the family.

I'm 5' 7" and the seat height is perfect for watching outdoor music
I am impressed with the quality of this chair. The tubing is stronger and the seat material is more substantial than I expected when I ordered it. I'm 5' 7" and the seat height is perfect for watching outdoor music. I like the taller back and integrated pillow for star gazing. It is narrower in the hip area than I had hoped, but still comfortable. It is structurally strong but flexible enough that you can rock it (a little). The Mesh on the sides makes hot, humid evenings more pleasant. It is very lightweight. The assembly attracted a lot of attention when I just shook it and tilted it and the all the tubes magically snapped into place. I wish it had arm rests, but otherwise a well-designed solid product at a fair price.

Broken out of box
I ordered 2, one arrived completely broken. The fabric rubber bands for easy construction were broken right out of the box. Fell to floor from packaging. The other chair bottom leg caps for ground will not stay on and literally fall off.

Great Product, but too Small for Big Guys
I really wanted this product to work, but it didn't for me. As it turned out, it was too small and did not fit me at all. If you have about a size 38-40 inch waist, and or a large back or legs, you won't fit in this chair in any direction. I am very muscular, and 5' 9" so your millage may differ. Also, I tried it on grass and the feet sunk in, and I found the feet came off the chair leg, and stuck in the mud.. They need to be glued with strong but not impossible to remove glue to the chair legs, to stop losing the feet in soft or wet ground, or elsewhere. I found that overall it was very well made and designed, and I loved how compact it folded down. I bought it mainly for motorcycle camping, where the 4 pounds and small footprint would have been ideal. The headrest was right in the right place, (for 5' 9" or smaller), and a good addition to the chair. I look forward someday to a new Large size, as there are a lot of us large outdoor guys, and would probably buy two of those if they fit.. I hope they offer it soon. Also, I think it would be good if they would ship to Canada, too. Lastly, I would be willing to be a test guy, for a new Large size, should it be made.
