It is to be stored in a dark place at room temperature. You also need to reseal the bag airtight. I fold over the top and 'seal' it with a large paper clip. I keep the bag in a lower cabinet where it is dark and cooler than elsewhere. I hope this helps.

Hi, and thanks for the question! You absolutely can use it in a herbal tea blend - just scoop a tablespoon or so into a fine mesh teabag or a strainer and pop it into the hot water. This way you'll still get the nutrients! Our cranberry powder is high in antioxidants. Since many of these plant compounds and nutrition is stocked in the skin and seeds of the berries, is why we use whole berries for our powders. So because it's made from the whole fruit and contains all the parts, the powder doesn't fully dissolve in water, but contains heaps more nutrients than juice powder. Hopefully this helped you out.
