WatchDog NXT85c Dehumidifier, White

I am updating my review to let everyone know that this company has the kind of customer service that most of us never see anymore.My unit stopped working after about 2.5 years.I called Seaira and was immediately connected with a technician.He walked me through some troubleshooting steps and he was convinced the problem was the logic board. He got my information and had one sent out within hours of the phone call.I got the board two days later and installed it.I had a couple of questions regarding the right wires in the right places, and I called them again.Same guy on the phone and he went through all of my connections one by one to make sure I had everything as it should be.Fired the unit up and it's up and running!Incredibly helpful and friendly people!If I ever need another one I won't hesitate to buy Seaira!!

Ok, just got one of these today, based on the fact that our local crawl-space pros install this brand exclusively and raved about how well they are supported by local reps, etc. However, there appears to be some big, fat mis-information here on Amazon. The box very clearly says "Made in China." I can't say that I'm surprised. They clearly are distributed by and probably tested by "Seaira" in NC, but someone needs to address the first question and answer on this item that states that it's made in the USA. It looks to be just another in the mix of Chinese-made dehumidifiers, branded by a US distributor. Bought mine from 4JHose and Supply, and wow... literally one day free shipping time from Atlanta, so Kudos to these guys for fast shipping. I see you guys are on here recently answering questions, so let's hear it... is it USA or China? Can't say anything about performance yet, but wanted to at least throw this out, just in case anyone was thinking this was a US-made product. It might be a perfectly fine Chinese-made product, but one of their distributors needs to chime in here and clear the air so it doesn't look like bait-and-switch advertising.EDIT: 9/13/2021 Got the unit installed. Pretty straightforward, and it's already working hard trying to pull the humidity down in a newly closed crawlspace that was previously hovering around 87% RH all the time. This was a typical "builder's" crawlspace with marginal vapor barrier, perimeter French drain, and crawlspace wall venting to the outside world. Just a flawed idea from the outset to put AC ductwork in that setting. Step one was to close the space, improve the vapor barrier, and install dehumidifier. Will report back on results.

I have this product in our basement crawlspace. It is very quiet and does a great job. I've seen a noticeable difference since putting it in, which was very easy. I love the fact that it came with the pump installed so I did not have to buy a separate pump. I'd buy it again.
