Commuter Series Case for Google Pixel 4a 5G (5G ONLY, not Compatible with 1st gen Pixel 4a) - Black

It very sturdy and easy to grip. I imagine it will last me at least as long as the phone last. It has antiviral added into the case material, so I feel safe using it in public. The hole for the fingerprint reader is the right size, so it's easy to use the fingerprint function. I have tried several phone cases over the past few years. Overall, I probably won't use any other case but the OtterBox. It feels very durable and seems to be offering good protection for my phone. I'm using the OtterBox case in combination with the glass protector, which fills like great protection for my phone. Much less expensive than paying the monthly fee to get protection for the phone via my carrier.

Had it for a while now holds up really good

Great protection. I wore the last one out. Love that it covers the portal holes as well. (Since it has fallen in water before). My only gripe is color choices. I ended up getting pink again because I didn't want black. All in all it is the best in protection out there!

But it started breaking apart after a few months. The cover for the buttons also wore down making it difficult to know which button I was pressing.

this case served me and my pixel 4a 5g well, and i'm only moving on because i have to — i'm upgrading to the pixel 8 and they sadly have nothing in the commuter series or anything remotely similar, so i'm (very reluctantly) switching to a different brand. i highly prefer the dual layer shockproof cases like this and loved how protective this one was. durable and very protective, but not too bulky (and not too slim either, the perfect comfort level), and a cute color. also a smooth texture that popsockets can stick perfectly to. i really wish otterbox made more cases like this and made them available for more phone varieties and i hope they will in the future. i did repurchase this after a couple years due to wear and tear, but it ultimately lasted quite a while and was worth replacing it with the same item. there was some discoloration (though no where near as bad as lots of cases I've tried), the flap for the charger port broke on both the cases i had, and the volume buttons rubbed down quite a lot after a while. in all my time using this case, my phone never broke and my screen never shattered (a couple screen protectors cracked, but that's what their job is). very pleased with this case and it will be missed dearly by me. otterbox, if you can hear me, PLEASEEEE release a similar case for the pixel 8 and include cute color options.

I love this case! It's so reliable! It saved my phone so many times. And I just ordered it again. It will last a year and half before I get another one. But it does it's job by saving my phone from water and it getting dropped. My phone is still not cracked or broken after 3 years.

Have had this case about 3 months now. I haven't dropped it yet, so this review cannot attest to that manner of protection. The phone itself is so slim, sleek and smooth, I can't count how may times I almost dropped it before getting the case. Also, the power and volume buttons are very sensitive, I was always having to back pout of 'restart' from accidentally hitting the button. with the case the buttons are not so sensitive. Appears pretty scratch resistant as well. Oh, this case is GREAT helping locate the fingerprint sensor quickly.

I was using one of the official cases, but I cracked the screen with it. So I switched to this one. Despite me dropping the phone several times, I haven't done any new damage to it. It fits well, and protects it against drops.

The Otter case reminded me of my older Blackberry case I had a while ago. It is actually better as it seems to be built better to accommodate the phone's structure. The screen is protected well too. With a little depth, so if your phone falls face flat, it should be okay. I haven't dropped mine face down just yet. Also, make sure you keep your phone close to you. If you drop it dramatically it may slide but not too far.

I generally am not interested in an OtterBox-style phone case because I like a little more bling but thought I'd give this one a shot. I am really happy with it! It's a tad heavier than I am used to but the colours are really pretty, the phone feels very protected and the fingerprint reader/camera/speaker cutouts are perfect.

Nunca había comprado una funda Otter porque no me gusta que tengan una parte como de silicón y luego una parte dura (la covertura) pero la verdad le queda perfecto al celular y si amortigua muchísimo los golpes y caídas. No sé si volvería a comprarla porque no me encanta que tenga dos partes la funda pero si sirve bastante bien... espero no se aguade
