Excellent, cheap, and easy repair. Very sticky.
This stuff is great for a quick patch on vinyl or leather. It's very sticky (more so than duck tape) so be careful and use sharp scissors when you cut it as it can stick to them making it difficult to cut. The two person method is best to avoid rough or white edges. Be sure to clean the area first with a non oil based cleaner, liquid dish soap and water is best. Once the area dries, cut the pieces to fit and carefully apply and smooth. It's best to cut lengthwise and use large pieces to be sure to cover enough surface area for a good stick. Works best in a controlled temperature, we have a new HVAC and keep our house cool in the summer which reduces humidity. If you don't use central AC, have older inefficient AC, or you don't let your AC run enough I can see the humidity causing the glue to lose efficiency so in those cases you would be better off getting a patch instead. Overall it works great for a cheap and easy repair to keep the area from getting worse. We're very pleased with our purchase. I only wish I would have gotten the dark brown instead, but we like low lighting so from a distance it's not noticeable to guests.

Serious adhesion! Take your time and apply it right the first time.
Great stuff. Much cheaper than buying a new chair, especially since (in my case) the hardware and padding were fine and only the issue was the imitation leather flaking off. Usage: Within a few minutes of being applied this tape is relatively easy to remove and adjust, but it bonds to the surface quite firmly after an hour or so. It can peel the top layer off imitation leather, even in an area that previously looked fine. Also, try to tuck the edge of the tape into seams or into areas that will not see much wear, since that appears to be vulnerable part of the tape. Also take into account the direction of wear: you don't slide side to side on most chairs as much as you do front to back, so running the strips of tape from the front to the back of the seat will help keep it from peeling. This matters less in areas that won't have much sustained contact, like a dinged corner or the back of a chair.

It did exactly what I was hoping it would do
It's only been a week so far, but it seems like this will hold up well enough to get another year or so out of our couch. We have a 'composite leather' couch from a big box store that started peeling in several spots. One roll was more than enough to cover all the torn areas and we have a bit left over. The tape feels quite stiff at first, but it's holding well and staying adhered, and so far so corners are lifting or anything. The only downside is that when you cut the tape, you see a bit of white showing on the short edges when you stick it down - it's the adhesive threads showing, similar to the underside of duct tape. But it sure feels durable and the color blended perfectly. If you're taping over an edge, such as the arm of a couch, you may want to apply strips vertically instead to have better drape going over the corner. Pro: if you need to make a ragged piece of furniture last a little longer, this is what you're looking for. Cheap and easy, and not as tacky as silver strips of duct tape Cons: the adhesive sticks to your scissors, so don't use your best pair or a pair meant for fabric [I shudder at the thought]. They cleaned up with some rubbing alcohol and a few minutes of elbow grease.

HUGE fan of this tape...matches just about any surface you need but works best on flat surfaces...not so well on uneven ones.
I'm disappointed in having to leave less than a 5 star review for this particular tape. I've purchased the wood-grain colored tape to cover cords on my hardwood floor and it worked amazingly well. So much so that when I decided to move furniture around and had to remove the tape, no residue was left behind. It lifted right up. Yet the sticking power on this tape was less than satisfactory. The leather color is superb...so if you're purchasing this to use on a leather flat surface, you'll be fine. But I had to use this to seal areas on a leather couch that my dog got a hold of - it was the cushion edges part of the couch. So although from a distance, the leather matched up surprisingly well, the sticking power was sub-par. I found after a few days, the edges would roll up a bit. It's now just covering it and has no sticking power at all. It's been cold so it's possible in the warmer months, the sticky residue will hold better. So the long and short of it is if you need these tapes for flat surfaces, it's a 5 out of 5. For uneven surfaces, beware.

Tape works Great!!
Tape works Great!! I had an old leather chair that had a tear along the back seam of seat. My dog’s favorite place to sit. I wanted to find something that would help protect seam from getting larger and would handle dog hair and dog’s jumping up on it. Works great!! I really like the various color choices of tape they offer. I was able to match the chair so it’s not really noticeable. The tape’s adhesive is really good. The tape was a great find!!

Surprisingly matches
My 10 Ys old leather recliner recently started showing signs of neglect. A hole is located now where my elbow usually is. I chose to buy "Match N Patch" to try to temporarily repair it before I get a new one. I was surprised when I purchased this product. It really does match the color of the leather. It seems to be fairly sturdy. I will keep the chair and the repair tape.

Good item, works as intended
Good item, worked for my intended application. So far, the adhesive works well. Tip: prior to installation, make sure to clean the mating surface with rubbing alcohol to the adhesive will stick properly. You can also finish off with a heat gun & squegee or metal credit card to get rid of any trapped air between the tape & mating surface

Not that great
Didn’t stick for long. Lasted about two weeks. Color was right on the money though.

Hace su función bien, los filos donde se corta se ven blancos y hay luego que repasar con una crema con color para unificar, pero una buena compra, llegó en plazo y todo correcto
