Great product but terrible documentation
I bought this product to upgrade an old milling machine to USB connection instead of parallel port. The physical items were good quality and work very well. The documentation was almost unusable. The ad has a verbal description of the connections, a schematic and pictures of the circuit boards showing the connection labels. Also a verbal description of the connections. The verbal instructions say connect the control board 5V to the driver board 5v. No mention of a ground connection The schematic shows nothing connected to the control board 5v which looks like a drafting error. The driver board has ten connections, the schematic shows ten but the verbal instructions only mention nine. The "EN" has no connection. There is a comment that the control board cant support EN- and EN+ but there's only the one EN connection on the driver board. The board description says it "enables input" which sounds like a good thing. Another mystery: the control board has a set of 4 DIP switches numbered 1-4. The control board description shows three switches marked M1 - M3. These settings determine "Full Step Half Step and 4, 8 or 16 subdivisions. Since the step motors are part of the kit, the correct settings of the DIP's could be mentioned. Too bad they made such a nice product so difficult to use.

Great for the money
Documentation doesn't match the drivers sent. I spent a lot of hours researching the wiring for the correct components. That's the only reason for the 4 star. Once I figured the wiring out, all was good. Great bang for the buck
