Compact Heater That Warms Quickly and Runs Economically
I bought two of these ready for winter after realising my current heaters were far too expensive to run. After some research into more economical options, this seemed the best fit — and so far I’m impressed. They heat up very quickly and give off a steady warmth. At 650W they’re designed for smaller rooms, which is perfect for my studio space, and I expect the output will be ample once the cold weather sets in. The one thing it lacks is a built-in timer, so I’ve paired mine with timer plugs to automatically switch them on before I arrive. The compact size makes them easy to move around, and they don’t dominate the room. For anyone worried about running costs, this looks like a much more efficient choice compared with larger, more power-hungry heaters. The thermostat also means they click on and off, saving more energy than heaters which just keep going. If you need a simple, affordable heater for a small space, this is a great option to have ready for the colder months.

Cheap, effective and reliable
We now have 4 of these heaters, originally bought to keep the chill off the bathroom (old terrace house with galley kitchen extension and bathroom at far end, it works really well keeping the room warm. we have the rest in the back bedroom, main bedroom an attic, they aren't set high but provide enough heat to keep the rooms at a comfortable temperature and they don't cost a lot to run, take up very little space and are easily portable, cheaper than gas central heating. Not brilliant if you want to heat a huge area but very effective on smaller rooms, back bedroom is 12' by 16' with high ceilings and on a medium setting its working very well.

Alright to warm
Good bit of kit, does not get excessively hot so ideal for multiple uses, heating element warms oil and then cuts out on a regular basis so saving money.Do not expect this item to keep your living room hot in winter, as it does not get red hot, more like halfway between warm and hot.Still works well takes off the chill and warms the room and looks nice.

Do not buy!
I purchased my heater at the end of October and, like other purchasers have found if you read the reviews, it started leaking in January. It left a pool of clear liquid underneath it and drips around the front base where the cable exits. Russell Hobbs customer service told me that it was the protective film covering the heater which was coming off (apparently as it should), and the appliance just needed a wipe down with a rag. At no point had I ever felt the appliance needed a wipe down. Over a number of e-mails which included my photos, they refused to believe the heater is faulty and possibly dangerous and won't replace it or give me my money back, ultimately saying I must now go back to the retailer. I'm not sure why a heater which appears to shed a 'protective coating' into an oily puddle which could leave a carpet stain (luckily mine was on a laminate flooring and then I've since sat it on kitchen roll) is acceptable anyway? It's a shame because it was quiet and effective for its size and cost, but dealing with Customer Services is slow and tedious and ultimately I hit a brick wall. Be warned.

Great little heater
Great little heater for a small room, doesn’t take long to warm the space up and is small enough to tuck away anywhere in the room

Disappointing
First day of use and quite disappointed. It feels very warm up close but doesn't seem to heat the whole room. It does stay warm when turned off for some time which is good. Perhaps suited for a very small room(I tried it in a large living room). I feel like it used a lot of electricity, I watched my in house display and was pretty shocked(I have a prepayment meter).Good for a small room and if you don't have to worry about running cost.

Small, neat, mobile heater.
After reading so many varied reviews on this oil filled radiator I was very wary but decided I needed to try it myself. I actually bought a "as new" condition one, which I have never done before. It looks good, put together good and seems to work good. It's for my conservatory so it won't be tested thoroughly until the weather cools down! To sum up I am very happy with my purchase and great price! Tucks away neatly behind my table too!
