I thought I would check out the benefits of of an acupressure mat. I liked the fact that this deal had a head rest and a massage ball, and the colours are jolly. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The mat itself is well made and sturdy. I like that it has padding underneath. I was surprised at how bearable the experience was - it makes you feel your pulse in a way that is really stress-releasing and warming. Afterwards, it feels relaxing and slightly energising. I haven't slept all the way through yet (which was my main reason for exploring using one) but I have only been using it for four days. With consistent practice, I think things will improve.

Bought on a recommendation by a friend. Massively helped with lower and upper back pain. I was surpriised how well it works. Painful at first but actually relaxing. Focus on breathing helps.

Rapid delivery and well packed. Looks well made and anticipate it will provide good service for sometime to come. Purchased to help ease neck and shoulder tensions. Have not had much opportunity to use it since it arrived, so unable to comment on long term benefits. Mat surprisingly less painful to use than I was expecting. Pillow will need a great deal of getting use to. For the price worth experimenting with if seeking tools to improve well being.

When I first received this and opened it, I thought oh my goodness, how am I going to lie on this and it seemed really prickly! I lay side by side on the floor and I rolled my back onto it, then place your hands either side and lift your body and place until your comfortable. Do not slide or shuffel it'll scratch you. Once you're on it, I started with a minute now I am on it for as long as 15 mins and it is really good. It's mad because you don't understand how it works - well, I don't! The area that is painful, gets really red and at the beginning it was itchy, after it passes and I do not feel pain and I feel total rejuvenated! Pure Magic!

I picked this up after speaking to a friend. They recommended that I try it to help relax before going to bed.Have to say, the thought of thousands of spikes stabbing me in the back didn't sound very relaxing. Tried this during my lunch break while watching TV so I was on it for about 20mins with no top. After the initial discomfort it was all OK. Afterwards I could barely keep my eyes open so I won't be doing it again during the day! 😂My son has a rugby injury and he tried it when he got back in from school. He said it it was like free pain relief. He's strapped it to his gaming chair for while he's playing on his xbox.Definitely sceptical at first but, I highly recommend this!

I’m pleased with my choice - this mat is good and well worth the money, in fact it’s proper value for money. I like the thickness of the mat and cushion, stores neatly in its bag and that little massage ball it’s perfect for taking with me wherever I go.I found that couple of sessions were enough for me to get brave and try it with skin contact and I’m really pleased with the effect.I went back and got a second one for a person who deals with pain on daily basis.

I don’t get the same wow that is claimed in some other reviews, but after the initial ouch of laying on this, your body almost sinks it and relaxes. I have fallen asleep on it (I always set a timer)I’m not sure I’ve noticed pain relief but I do like laying on it.Tried other positions as noted in the guide book but haven’t found much relaxation in those

Had bought a well known brand one recently at a much higher price. Found it way too painful and sometimes couldn’t ly on it at all. This one is much more manageable but I still feel the benefit.
