Plumb CraftWaxman Seal Tight Toilet Flapper Replacement - 2 Inch

Perfect seal from the start which is expected for a new flapper. This has the feel of silicone rubber to it and I hope it is. Silicone rubber resists chlorine very well and stays like-new gummy for a long time. Which is good because fiddling with toilet repair is not near the top of my weekend preferred activities :-))

We have a very old toilet (I assume most of you do if you're looking at this type of flapper) and there is an old, unused part that sticks up next to the flapper and the flimsy edges of this flapper get stuck on it. The cheaper red one on here worked just fine.

This is purple, Very visible thru the water. Much easier to see than black or red. Best part this comes with a black plastic chain, not that heavier silver one, It will NEVER rust out! And it won't get caught under when flushing. It's a soft pliable silica type rubber, not like the harder rubber ones. Glad I chose this one.

I have a 20 year old toilet and recently developed a small seepage when the flow should be cut off .I replaced the flapper with the brand I previously had in there and it continued to let a tiny bit of water seep . I ordered a couple of different brands from Amazon hoping to fix the problem . I first tried the blue Waxman brand and although the product looks like a great flappers D installed easily , the seepage continued . I swapped the blue one for a yellow one I'd ordered and my problem was fixed . Looks like I won't have to buy that complete toilet just yet .

Works just fine even though the ring that goes around the pipe was too small for my toilet. I just cut it open and attached the stopper the same way you would. if the ring were intact. The chain was too long for I looped it on the hook and that too works fine. It all took about 5 minutes, including the full minute it took me to decide to cut the ring that goes around the pipe.

Worked perfectly on my vintage Crane wall mount.

Does not have work as well as I expected. It gets hung up on itself and does not plug properly so the water keeps running in the tank.

I bought a different (cheaper) brand that did not work. This one stopped the running. Very satisfied. I followed the instructions on what parts to cut away to make it fit. Easy.
