The quality of this case is very nice. It is heavy and seems to be very durable. I dont mind letting my husband use this key as it would be hard for him to abuse it. It's easy to assemble as well. You just slide your outer shell off your current key and screw this one on. The only thing I wish it had was the Volvo emblem on it. Otherwise a great product.

The key fob replacement cover I bought was bulky, and the tools and keys provided were not easy to use. The instructions seemed to suggest breaking my already damaged key, which was confusing and concerning. Overall, the experience was disappointing and left me looking for better alternatives.

This case looks great and feels solid! The only negative I have is that it is secured by screws so getting to the metal key means needing to keep a small screwdriver within access at all times.

This product was very easy to use. It added a nice personal touch 2 the original key fob. Although I had the leather OEM key fob, he's different color cases added a nice personal touch. The only downside is that there is no Volvo logo on these accessories. Also, the internal original key fob fits a little loosely inside these add-ons. It's very hard to notice, and if you're not using the actual buttons on the key fob you would probably never notice. Finally, this additional case adds a lot of extra weight to the key fob. However, I dropped mine off in and had chipped almost all the Chrome off my original key fob. These add on external cases seem to hold it very well to my daily abuse.

You need to remove the OEM plastic covers to use this. Watch the Volvo video (Google) to learn how to take them off to replace the battery or access the spare key. It screws together and the screw driver provided sucks so you need to have a better mini Phillips screw driver on hand.

The media could not be loaded.  Excellent fit and finish. Feels expensive and premium.

This replacement shell is very large and heavy - way larger and heavier than expected. I read the other reviews and knew that it would be large but not this large. Also, I ordered the blue and the color was not what I expected. Under a bright light, one could tell that it had a hint of blue. It was very dark - I mistakenly thought it was black initially. Overall, this product was nothing like I thought it was going to be.
