Splat Kit Neon Green, Vert, 3 Ounce with Splat Oxide Mixing Container

First of all, I am a cosmology school graduate and have been dying my hair bright colors for over a decade. I have used every product you can imagine (Artic fox, Manic panic, Ion brights, Wella colorcharm etc.) and I know most stylists are so against Splat! But for me it's my absolute go-to. I would advise those who are not properly educated on bleach to heed this advice though...40 volume developer is not normally used, even for dark hair. It's extremely strong and WILL cause chemical burns if it gets on your scalp. Your hair MUST be dirty so your scalp has natural oils to protect your scalp. Secondly, DO NOT leave it on for long at all. I usually don't leave it on for more than 15 minutes and I have very dark hair. Do not overlap with already bleached hair. If you need to bleach again, cut the time down even more so you don't melt your hair. Use shimmer lights to tone out yellow tones and even a toner or color remover to avoid having to bleach again. Your hair needs to be white for the "neon green" or it will not take properly but most of the other colors will dye over the brassy orange tones just fine. Also, you really need to commit when using Splat. It lasts forever and stains the cuticle. You can easily transition between other bright colors once it fades a bit but it will not be your natural color any time soon. With all of this in mind, Splat ALWAYS delivers. The color is rich, vivid and has serious staying power. I get tons of compliments every time I use it and will forever be a Splat customer. The photo is while my hair is wet so it will dry much brighter!

I've been using the Neon Green Splat hair color kit on my son's hair for almost 9 months now. He has thick dark brown hair, and the bleach in this kit is impressively fast lifting. The green is so vibrant and really holds well and easy to use. #pro tip: Will definitely stain skin, so apply carefully and use some Vaseline to protect the skin along the hairline.

ok this neon green shade is perfect i have dyed my hair many times and it only gets better each time i dye it . blue, pink, orange, purple, red, black, white, yellow, and brown . but the neon green was THE best colour that i have used . it lasts the longest out of all of the dyes and SPLAT is now my only source of hair dye and i love amazons deals . so it all ties in toghether . i dyed my hair other colours and the slightest touch might rub off and bleed onto things but splats neon green allowed me to style my hair for a few months . thats all that realy matters . if you have to buy any colour dye buy SPLAT's neon green . the official spat website is well i couldnt find the original website but i follow the splat name trust me its worth it

Love this Color and Brand ! Its perfect ! Stain very easy but I put Vaseline where my hairline is and its so much easier to take away dye before it stain the skin.

I gave this only 4 stars as the green fades rather quickly. The product itself was a great price, and easy to use. The green is quite remarkable--just like the photo of the man on the box, but did fade rather quickly. Because it was used on our son, who has rather short hair, we could have used the excess dye to recolor his hair, except that the kids at summer camp made fun of his green hair, so he wouldn't allow us to darken it up. He loved it until the mean kids said mean things.

Wow I was so excited to do my hair black and green when I reserve the package I open it and guess what the green was spilled all over the package in side and ever the instruction which I didn't mind cuz there was enough to do my hair when I was doing my hair I noticed that there was little green balls of green in the green dye like some the dye was old but I didn't really pay attention to. Anyways after I got done dying my hair n leaving it in for 45 mins I went to go rince n all the hair dye came out of my hair n only left little amount on my hair when yet I put a whole lot on my hair this bs I waited a whole week for this dye and was excited to do my hair n what do I get the dye spilled in the box and all over the instruction and maybe some old ass hair due wow this is bs. And if your asking what happened to the dye n box I threw it after words I hope I can adleast get a new one sent to me 😡😡😡😡

Extremely good color and long lasting. As per another review I left the bleach in for an hour, spritzing with water occasionally since it stops bleaching if it dries. Wash normally, and dry throughly preferably with a hair dryer. Apply the color, and leave on for 2-4 hours. Rinse with cool water until mostly clear, and dry immediately, again with a hair dryer if possible. Do NOT wash for about 3 days, and try to keep it dry. It's a good idea to put a towel on your pillow for a few days. Enjoy!

This was a very cool color. It fades very quickly though. After a few washes it is completely just yellow like when I bleached it but it isn't green anymore. I am happy with how it turned out when I first put it however but fading is fading and it doesn't last long. It kind of gets on your hands too since it bleeds. Especially if it is hot and you are sweating a lot. But the instructions were super easy and I really likes the vibrant color while it lasted.
