These black iron T fittings are tiny. They fit standard 1/2" pipe, which is what I ordered, but they are much smaller than fittings that I've purchased in the past at home centers. The photo above shows one of these smaller fittings next to a standard 1/2" fitting that I acquired a few years ago. It is smaller in all dimensions and three metal is half as thick.Maybe this size is the new normal and I just didn't know about it. They still seem sturdy enough to handle a fair amount of abuse.The only real issue that I noticed is that only 9 of the 10 fittings that I received were actually usable. One of them had an air gap in a seam that didn't get fully closed in manufacturing. It was big enough that I could blow on it and feel the air coming out of the threaded openings. The second photo shows the gap. It might not look big too some people, but that fitting is never going to hold gas.These are much cheaper than fittings that I've purchased in the past. I am using them in an area which will always be accessible. For those reasons I am satisfied. However, if I was a professional plumber I would be reluctant to use them, particularly on an important job.

I made a firewood rack. Ordered a whole bunch of parts from HomeTZH to put the rack together. Items packaged well. Good quality. Great for shelving or in my case a firewood rack. Used rebar for the arches to give it a rustic/industrial look and feel. Cant wait till it starts to rust. This stuff is not plumbing quality. Overall great product for my project.

It's pipe, their isn't really anything to complain about. Just wished that it came in smaller quantities 🙂 We used this to create this.

I built this very Large shelf unit 9.5' x 7.5' (the door is an 8-footer not a 6'8") using all TZH Fittings They were top quality throughout. My only disappointment was the Tees reviewed here (the center Tee female connection) was shorter than on the 4 and 5-ways which caused some alignment issues. I worked through it and the pics are the result. Very Sturdy. Note: there are exactly 170 Pipes & Fittings in this, draw your project out & count fittings needed 5 times, walk away then do it 2 more times. You'll thank me later.

It's my fault. I cut corners on quality and went with affordable. I built 2 black pipe frames to hold Michigan maple work table surfaces. These pieces came in bulk and were a fraction of the price had I gone with the big box hardware stores. Ooops.If you are simply being artsy around the house then these are great but they strip out easily and are about a 1/3 of the working weight of the industrial grade. Spend more money and get a better product.I hope this helps.

Yessss I did the ‘overdone’ industrial style shelving but I needed something that would hold the weight of a lot of books and these are perfect since the pipes connect to the floor. For the most part these were great, the only issue I had was I bought the elbows to finish the top shelf and compared to the tees, they’re too short. Meaning I would have had to buy a different size pipe for the top piece connecting to the wall, but I made it easy on myself and just used a tee instead of an elbow.This is much nicer than buying real plumbing pipes since they have grease on them, these are completely clean, used specifically for building furniture.

I bought these fittings to build a canoe rack and these are very strong and have a solid hold on the pipe.Great Quality and at a good price.
