Great for many cutting applications in the home and kitchen. Works well with either hand. I use it on those hard dog treats cutting small pieces for my small dogs.

I have owned a pair of these scissors for about a year. They cut everything from tissue paper to the heaviest card board with ease. My granddaughter loves crafts so I ordered her a pair. (She is 13, I wouldn't give them to a child much younger as they are extremely sharp).I would not recommend these scissors for food preparation as they do not separate for cleaning, but they are great for craft, shop and general use.

Many, many years ago, I bought my first pair of good fabric scissors and chose Wiss ($17 back in the late 1970's - a lot of money back then). I LOVED those scissors- really comfortable and sharp! - and used them for a few decades. My kids knew that they were NEVER to be used by them for anything. At some point during my move 8 years ago, I misplaced my scissors was had to buy a new pair. Because I wasn't sewing as often anymore (my kids grew up), I bought a cheaper pair to replace them and they are very nice, but not like my old Wiss fabric shears. Recently, I needed a better pair of all purpose scissors that would last longer than the cheap ones that get dull after a 6 months, so I decided to buy a pair of Wiss again. I couldn't be happier!!!! The quality of Wiss products is still wonderful. While I may have paid twice as much for them than a pair of Westcott or Fiscars scissors, I know they are going to last a very, VERY long time and in the long run, will SAVE me money having to replace them as often.

These scissors are great! They are the 3rd pair I've purchased for myself and others in my family.

Bought these to replace a pair I broke . These work great. Sharp and sturdy. I would buy again if I need another pair sometime .

I use these sheers for all kinds of projects. They cut plastic, cardboard and of course, paper like butter. I have also used them to cut a piece of wire but I don't recommend using them for that as the wire left a tiny indention in the blade. I knew better than to use them for wire but it hasn't really affected how they cut. I will purchase these again and have been very pleased with the performance of these shears. The large handles are a hard plastic but they do not dig into your hand. I'm sure it depends on the size of your hand but mine are small and they are very comfortable to use.

Estaba muy contento con mi productoy ahora que lo he usado me gusta el filo de las cuchillas. Sin embargo se acaba de romper de la oreja roja de plástico después de hacer esfuerzo con un laminado de plástico duro. La cuchilla si corto pero la parte muy delgada de la oreja se abrió. Ya lo pegue pero es un defecto de diseño.

I've been using these for cutting fleece and other cloth materials and have been very happy with them. I do a lot of cutting and these scissors have really proven themselves. Highly recommend them.
