Homeland Hardware 50 Pack KN95 Approved List Non-NIOSH Respirator 5-Ply Layer GB2626-2019

I have been buying these masks from Homeland Hardware for about two years now. These masks are the only KN95s that have a secure fit and are comfortable to wear all day. I recently purchased them again since I was running low and noticed the box was completely different. The old box was red which I always remembered as a good way to tell they were the ones that I preferred, but the new boxes are now blue and masks are completely different. Unfortunately, for me personally, they’re not the same. So I decided to give customer service a call. I spoke with Alex who couldn’t have been more helpful. He let me know that the new masks are still made by the same manufacturer (which happens to be the Chinese government), but they recently changed their masks to this newer version, which I can tell are not the same. Alex let me know that they unfortunately don’t have any control over this, obviously, but was happy to issue me a refund. This could have been a tricky situation but they were kind enough to understand the issue, which I’m grateful for since they’re not cheap! Thank you Homeland Hardware!

Outstanding Product! I normally don't write reviews but on something as pivotal as this I wanted to share my findings. We are paranoid as a family as we have a new born in the house and I use the NYC mass transit system to get to work. Hence, I had to be 100% sure that this product is effective against protecting the wearer against COVID 19 and other airborne infectious diseases (as folks know, generic masks are worn to try and protect people around you from your germs. Only N95 or KN95 masks have proven effective for the wearer of the mask from picking up airborne infections as it filters particles from penetrating into the mask from the outside). Hence, we verified the effectiveness of this mask via lab testing results to ensure it effective in screening 95%+ of airborne particles (using the a modified version of the NIOSH Standard Test Procedure TEB-APR-STP-0059 to test for effectiveness). Sure enough all samples passed with flying colors! I also find the product to be a great fit. Highly recommended!

I thought these weren’t being sold any more and purchased another US made brand. They were awful. When I breathed in and out the mask didn’t move back this one where you know you’ve got a good seal because breathing in and out makes the mask contract. Disappointed in shipping though. Sent in soft packaging and box was damaged and looked almost used. If I didn’t have faith in these would have sent back because the masks are in a ziplock bag versus a sealed bag so…..

As advertised. Only weakness is ear straps that are a little too short. Cutting the straps off flush with the mask surface and stapling them closer to the mask edge results in a satisfactory fit.

These are on the FDA approved list and when I first purchased them they were under $2/piece which was a great price during covid. I'm a nurse and wear them under a level 2 surgical mask for an entire shift, they usually last a whole shift before feeling itchy or fuzzy. They are over-the-ear which makes them much more comfortable and practical than over-the-head. The elastic is pretty loose but if I put a knot in them they can fit just fine. They mold and fit great, when fitted my glasses don't fog. I'd still wear an N95 in a covid patient room but for everything else, this combo has really worked for me. I re-ordered and the price had gone up but they were still better prices than competitors that are not even on the FDA list.

I can wear these masks for hours. They're very comfortable and they fit my face. This is my second time ordering this brand.
