POWERPRO30LB. X 500 YD. Moss Green Braided Fishing Line

This was my first (late) introduction into the world of braided lines. I used this to spool up an Avet SX with a 50-yard topshot of 25# mono. I frequently got into the Powerpro while fighting yellowfin tuna and the extra capacity of the heavier line (50#) on that little reel proved to be a winning combination. Pliable, durable and it worked as advertised. Some guys complain about a "waxy" feel to the braid coating, but it wasn't really an issue IMO. I will get more for some of my other reels and only change out the mono topshot after each trip, saving money in the long run.

This is one of the top quality lines available. It works well and so far no issues with quality or durability.

I have been using this brand and this is the only line I use.I have not use any other brand because for 13 years (magi braid) using thisbraided line I have not lost a single fish. I caught a 120 lbs tarpon on it,48 lb cobia and several King Mckerrels. Infact, 3.5 years ago I won thetop prize on a Rebel King tournament held at Oceancrest pier at Oak Island. The pier tournament was then managed by David Cooper.I work part time at Bass Pro Shop fishing department and this is the only braided line I recommend to my customers. If you guys are lookingfor the ultimate in braided fishing line, power pro powers it all,period. The bottom line is, this is the only true made in the good old USA braided line that stands out among the best, if not the best!

I fish everyday except the day I go to church. With that said, I fish a lot and if you're too busy to fish -- you're too busy. PERIOD. On with the review, I fish in the Chesapeake tributaries and catch all types of fish from Rock Fish to Catfish to Weakfish to Puppy Drums. The only reason why I chose this product is because there are snag issues every time I reel my line in.NOT ANYMORE! The only thing breaking is my 80lb mono shock leader or a bent hook or the metal swivel. This braided line NEVER fails.It also have great knots in there that every fisherman should know about.

the fishing line is great...is 1 star not for the quality of the line, is because i order a promotios of 40lbs 300 yards yellow 2 packages of 300 yards...and i receive 2 packages of 30lbs 150 yards wight color line so not what they offer...i can use it but is not what the offer...so not happy

No complaints besides the random wind knot. This tends to happen more when spools on reels are filled to capacity.

I have been a big fan of Powerpro for years now and this 50 LB test certianly lived up to my expectations ! This was put on a Penn Conventional reel mounted on an Ugly Stick heavy action for use in the Ohio River for big blue catfish. The line pulled in a 38 lb bluecat with no problem! Love this braided line

Have been using braided line for some time ago and will not use mono other then 4 to 8 feet for a leader. Using braided line, you will be able to feel bite of a small fish such as sand dab at great depths of over 200 feet.

This is Power Pro. It is as it should be.

Good fishing line

I want to use it on a very small reel, for fishing very light lures. In heavier test strength this line is amazing, in the lowest test strength it 'kinks' in the line often. I got so many wind knots I haven't even spooked the high Vis version I was hoping I'd see and control better. Will probably use it for some crafts project. The line is ok, if you can get it cheap or on discount it cuts through all vegetation, just be careful in ultralight gear, a more round line may be better.

I wish i had discovered this years ago.
