Provided much needed functionality in Switch games whilst keeping costs low
I'm ashamed of Nintendo requiring you to need to obtain wasteful plastic figurines to unlock features in game. I don't need childish amiibo figurines cluttering up my house, nor want to spend tonnes of money per character. These cards have helped bypass all this for a few quid, easily programmable with a phone, and can be rewritten to as many times as desired, though the 20 I've bought, have been plenty enough to map Mario and Zelda characters with a few to spare.
