Xbox Wireless Controller - Robot White

Fast delivery, box and controller brand new and it connected straight away without any problems, everything works and was very cheap for an original xbox controller. Will buy again when I need one

I purchased this solely to be used for PC.The controller has a nice feel and is certainly familair; I've previously used the original Xbox One controller, which I will use to base my review. The controller is slightly smaller in form, but still familiarly comfortable to use. It feels of a suitable quality for the price point. Overall I like it, it's comfortable to hold and the addition of the rGrippy texture on various parts of the controller add to the overall feel and comfort.I initially had some reservations due to the reviews regarding the controller cutting out whilst connected via Bluetooth.Upon receiving the controller I immediately tried to use it with an android device and encountered the Bluetooth disconnection issue. I then went to use it on my PC, at the time I had no Bluetooth dongle so used the controller wired - which worked absolutely fine. On connecting the controller to PC, I updated the controller software then reattempt the connection to the android device - it worked flawlessly allowing me to test a couple games out. A few days later I recieved a Bluetooth dongle for my PC, by which point I'd forgotten about the reviews. Literally installed the dongle, searched for a device - put the controller in pairing mode and connected to it. As simple as that, I've also experienced no connectivity or latency issues between the controller and the PC.I generally use the controller for games like as Forza, which has been a solid experience so far (Identical to a console experience).So far entirely happy with this product and wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.Will update if any issues arise in the future.Edit: since updating to Windows 11 I have had issues connecting this controller to Bluetooth, but I believe this more to be an issue with the Bluetooth device and the drivers working with Windows 11, not the controller as the controller continues to work as expected on Bluetooth.Further edit Feb 2024: The prior issues with connectivity were due to driver incompatibility with Windows 11. I've since purchased a Windows 11 compatible Bluetooth dongle and have had no further issues. A 5 star product.Edit march 2025: I actually like this controller so much I bought a further one so I didn't need to keep reconnecting the controller to different devices as it is limited.

Classic cheap xbox controller. Useless. But great boxing and fast delivery.

Not a whole lot has changed since the last version of the Xbox One controller, but what has changed is amazing, to me at least. The triggers, bumpers and back half of the controller have tactile bump grips on them now which feels great when holding it. The triggers have a soft and quiet pull to them that gives off a really premium and well made feeling to use them. There's a new share button for taking screenshots and clips which is a nice touch, though not terribly new or unique to it. The D-pad has been replaced with a radial plate kind of design that makes clicking in the diagonal directions a little easier, it almost feels like rotating the yellow stick on a Gamecube controller if you remember how that felt. All of the buttons press quite softly but decisively, overall every element of this controller feels high quality and sturdy, I can't imagine it would be too easy to break or damage it unless you were trying to. My only gripe would be from a self repair perspective, it doesn't have any visible screwholes anywhere, even inside the battery compartment; so if you needed to open it and fix something it would prove more difficult than older controllers like the 360's. Of all controllers I've held and used, this is by far my favourite. Simply perfect. I highly recommend getting one, it's so good. The introduced features aren't so game changing that you should go out of your way to replace a perfectly good older controller with this, but if you're in the market for a new controller I would encourage anyone to put a little extra money down and get this one.
