Generic Remote Control Replace for Onkyo Rc-649m Ht-r540 Ht-sr304s Tx-sr503 Tx-sr503s Tx-sr575 Av Receiver

The battery compartment is too large, allowing the batteries to pop out of position and the remote to stop working. Everything looks fine from the outside—you have to open up the battery cover to discover the problem. It happens every couple of weeks.

It works, buttons do something different than what there suppose to, which is fine as I am using in my office with an older Onkyo receiver running a 2.1 setup for audio and I don't change inputs.My only issue is I bought the remote to turn on/off the receiver, that is the only button that doesn't work. O well. I have volume control now. Besides I have left it on for almost 17 years and it still works.

My package arrived before expected. I placed 2 AAA batteries in the remote and it works perfects. I have been using the old remote since 2005.Thanks Amazon!👍👍
