I bought it to see if it would work with connecting an external DAC to my Ipad since I am an Apple Music Subscriber and want to hear the best quality sound they have. Works great with my Ugreen USB C Dongle and Apple lossless sounds fantastic! I'm running it into a Fosi P1 tube preamp and then into my integrated amplifier and the sound is sublime. Very open and airy. 10/10 recommend if you just want to run an external DAC on your apple device. Just be sure that you have a newer device with ios 16 or newer since older apple devices won't feed audio through the lightning port ( I tried with a fully updated iphone 6S Plus and the Apple Dongle) Anyway, it works fantastic for what I need it for.

Plugged it into iPhone 8+ with 16.1, plugged in old 8GB drive, and presto - instant access.Tried same thing with an expensive iPhone compatible removeable drive and phone never recognized it, even after I reformatted as exFat.

This works as described and I don't see any issues or have had any issues with it

Tried it with an apple product to type and it worked. It's fine.

I use these at work to email files and put them onto a usb drive with my people out in the field when doing building surveys. It’s more convenient to have a phone than a laptop and hotspot and all that.One thing to note, With iOS you will get 2 files one that is a supporting data file that has this in front of it “._” you can ignore that file when you import the files. That one is just from the iPhone. The other file is the one you want.

The best thing this has going for it was the very low price. That’s about it. Feels super cheap and doesn’t recognize my devices I plug in half the time but once I unplug and plug it back in, it will work.

Works just as it should.

I use this to attach my iPad to my electric piano. Works perfectly every time and instantly.
