i’ve been repurchasing this for almost 8 years now. hands down this is a holy grail product for me and i have been recommending it to everyone. it takes my makeup off great and it leaves my skin feeling so smooth and soft. its very lightweight and it is very easy to use. i use this for about 10-20 minutes before i use a water based cleanser to take it off. it got rid of little bumbs i have and i genuinely do feel blackheads and dead skin coming off as i use it. this made my skin do a 180 and i will def be using this until the day i die. i love this and recommend it so much.

I use this every single day to remove my sunscreen at the end of the day. If you wear SPF daily you know how hard it is to fully get it off with a regular cleanser. This oil breaks it down completely without scrubbing or tugging at your face. The gentleness is what keeps me coming back. I massage it onto dry skin for about a minute and everything dissolves. Sunscreen, any makeup residue, whatever built up during the day. It rinses clean with water and leaves zero greasy residue behind. My skin feels fresh after, not stripped or tight. No fragrance and no colorant. I appreciate that because my skin reacts to basically everything unnecessary in a formula. Zero skin irritation after months of daily use. The ingredients are simple and effective. Olive oil based with vitamin E and it doesn't try to do too much. Just cleans thoroughly and gets out of the way. My skin appearance has honestly improved since I started using this consistently. I think properly removing sunscreen every night was the missing step in my routine. Pores look cleaner, fewer random breakouts, and my other products absorb better on freshly cleansed skin. The medium 4.1 oz bottle lasts me about two months with nightly use. Already on my third bottle and it's another subscribe and save staple.

Acne assistance! This oil cleanser works really well to get out impurities, my daughter is acne prone and it has helped her alot. She's used about half the bottle already, i also tried it, leaves skin feeling refreshed. Take anywhere, no strong smells.

As far as I am concerned this is the best cleansing oil there is, and while all the "trendy, popular" brands are now coming out with their own cleansing oil, just remember DHC has been around for quite awhile, quietly making their top quality products that far out perform the competitors at a less expensive price. No, they are by no means cheap, this is quality and you pay for quality. All of DHC's products are of superior quality. I use their facial primer too after trying their's first and loving the feel of it, but not knowing anything, it was the same with this exquisite cleansing oil, I tried lots of others, but came back to DHC for the performance, how gentle it is on my skin, and the value. This is my best example of how well DHC Deep Cleansing Oil works on cleaning anyones face, but it happened to be mine that evening. At work, we had a decades party. You were supposed to come to work dressed from what ever decade you liked the best, were born into, or had the clothes for, whatever reason. I picked the 70s, because I was a teenager then. I hung with the kids heavy into rock, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who, etc. So, bell bottoms, tye dye, and heavy eye make up. more, of course than I ever did back then and I have some really good theatrical eyeshadow that once applied properly is there for the performance, along with the eyeliner, blush, you have the idea. I got home from work wanting nothing more than to get that stuff off. In applying DHC Cleansing Oil, always to start, dry hands, dry face. I knew it was going more than one pump off of the bottle like I normally do for everyday makeup, I did two, I have small hands and a lot comes out. I spread it all over and started carefully massaging it in, carefully not getting anything into my eyes. It is so cool to see all that makeup just immediately start breaking up. I had some cotton pads, so I used them to wipe some excess around my eyes because of all the makeup, not the oil, it is very gentle. Then I applied warm water and massaged more as it turned into a light foam and it slowly washed completely away, except for some fine touch up work I carefully did will the oil and the cotton pads and water. I never have to do that on a normal day. That was it, and without getting any makeup on any of my bath towels or wash cloths. I highly recommend this as the best cleansing oil there is, and I have to many friends. Now I am to you.

Product I have been purchasing for almost a decade. Excellent at getting out black heads around the nose and mouth. However, if you do not thoroughly double cleanse after, you will be sure to experience a break out. It has a mild scent that doesn’t bother me, typically I get headaches from too strong of a scent. Overall, it’s a gentle way to cleanse and protect your skin health.

I’ve been using this for years. It’s about the only thing that removes my waterproof mascara easily. It’s perfect for removing makeup, although I barely wear more than a light powder, mascara, and under eye concealer. There are very few products that are my holy grail staples and this is one of them. I will always find a way to buy this. People are very surprised by my real age, often guessing 8-10 years younger and it has made me even more of a DHC fan. Yes, my mama passed on her youthful genes to me, but I also attribute it to the simplicity of my products and routine. I’m thankful for beautiful skin. Keep it simple, that’s my motto. This oil cleanser can make you break out initially while your skin is getting used to it. Do a double cleansing method with witch hazel after. I store some cotton round pads in an old zit pad container and squirt some yellow capped witch hazel on them all and keep it tightly closed. Every night, I apply this oil to my dry face, working it in to get my waterproof mascara off, then I lather with water, rinse and pat dry, and then use a witch hazel pad to clean one more time. After that I sometimes use vitamin C serum, and I always use DHC Q10 eye cream and the DHC Rich Moisturizer. That’s it. My skin glows. I couldn’t be happier with these products. I’m a lifelong customer. I’ll never change. There isn’t anything better. Make it part of your routine and get through the skin detox stage and you should see results. Keep your skin happy and let it breathe, it needs to last a lifetime.

This is an amazing product! I will ALWAYS use it to cleanse my skin at night. It is so gentle, thorough, and comforting. Massage some on and feel the self - care. Your skin will thank you! It smooths away the day's accumulated, makeup, dirt, grime and other pollutants that we all encounter day to day. Over time it clears away collections of sebum on your skin (blackheads) and leaves your skin fresher softening and comforting. I am so glad to have found this product and if you care for your skin (and you should) you will love this wonderful oil. What a find!

Ich nutze seit Jahren Öl zur Gesichtsreinigung und habe vermutlich 10+ verschiedene Produkte ausprobiert. Ich schminke mich mit Make-up (also Teintgrundierung), Wimperntusche und Lippenstift. Meiner Erfahrung nach haben Abschminköle mindestens eines dieser Mankos: - Sie sind zur teuer. 30 oder sogar 50€ pro Flasche bin ich nicht bereit auszugeben - Sie brennen in den Augen. Das passiert vermutlich, wenn Duftstoffe oder ähnliches beigefügt werden - Sie emulgieren nicht richtig, wenn man Wasser hinzufügt. Das führt dann häufig dazu, dass man immer noch eine Öl/Make-up Schicht auf dem Gesicht hat, die man dann mit irgendeinem anderem Mittel oder Watte abnehmen muss. Dann kann man auch gleich auf das Öl verzichten. Von diesem Öl nehme ich zwei Pumpstöße, verteile sie auf dem Gesicht, massiere sie sorgfältig ein und mit lauwarmen Wasser werden Öl und das Make-up komplett gelöst. Die Haut bleibt sauber zurück und fühlt sich angenehm an. Dieses Öl kaufe ich nach.

Works very well as the first step cleanser. Gentle on the skin, non-greasy and removes the make up and sunscreen easily.

Good oil but not any better than coconut oil which I use all the time
