Review: Great product! - The treadmill was deprived a day early! It’s basically assembled right out of the box - for sure plug and play. Don’t forget to switch on the power using the button underneath the treadmill. The treadmill started up perfectly. However the remote is not great. It takes a few clicks of the speed and power button to turn it on or to adjust the speed. So that kinda sucks, but it has always ended up working within a minute of me trying. So not the end of the world. It’s a tad more loud than I thought it would be. I turn it down to about 1 mile an hour to take a phone call but outside of that, it’s not overly loud at all. I would recommend for sure! Thinking about outreaching the company for a new remote. Update: it was user error with the remote! If you hold it to the side and click the button, it doesn’t connect. But if you hold it straight on to the front of the treadmill, it works perfectly. I’ve had the treadmill for a few days now and love it!!! Would highly recommend.
Review: Cheap, dangerous motors - This review is long overdue, but let me regale you with the saga of this walking pad. I purchased this walking pad last summer and really enjoyed it while it still functioned properly. I have a standing desk and would use it during Zoom meetings and other office tasks, often for a total of 2-3 hours a day. I kept up with the recommended maintenance, lubricating the belt as needed, and adjusting the tension if it ever started drifting to one side or the other. About 4 months in, in the middle of an otherwise normal walking session, the belt abruptly stopped and nearly threw me off. Soon thereafter, it abruptly started up again. I spent some quality time researching the possible causes and tried adjusting the belt tension. It did the same abrupt stop and start maneuver on me again. Frustrated, I set it aside and tried to figure out how to contact customer service (spoiler alert - you have to go to the seller's marketplace page and send them a message there). After a lot of back and forth, they decided that the motor had a fault and offered to send me a replacement. I accepted. They shipped it out, and send an instructional video on how to replace it. 0/10, would not recommend - I'm pretty handy and the replacement instructions were clear, but the drive shaft is under so much tension that it is very difficult to get the new motor properly installed and bolted into place - it wasn't a one person job. Regardless, I got the new one installed and things seemed to be running smoothly again... That is, until I tried to run the treadmill for more than 20 minutes. The new motor, while nominally functional, was overheating after 20-30 minutes. It was giving off a burning smell, and the treadmill housing near the motor would be hot to the touch. Mind you, the auto-cutoff for this walking pad is at 99 minutes, and I was accustomed to walking for 60-90 minute stretches. So I talked to customer service yet again. They decided to claim that this was normal behavior, and that I should just use it for 30-minute intervals, with at least 30 minutes in between uses. At that point, I was fed up, so I requested a refund. The seller was willing to grant once since they claim to offer a one-year warranty, but had no way to process a refund directly and told me to contact desertcart. desertcart customer service could have been more helpful, but they did eventually agree to process a return and refund... minus a $60 stocking fee. I don't know if any of these walking pads on desertcart will actually hold up more than a few months, but this one certainly won't. Skip this one and look elsewhere.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ TV remote Controls Speed and Turn off/on
*by C***L on February 25, 2021*

I received the treadmill yesterday and was super excited. I found there are NO instructions on how to adjust the belt tension properly, or info on what the belt tightness should be. It only says not to adjust it to tight or it could burn the motor. So , I was concerned and loosen it by just 1/2 turn on each side and the belt seemed to slip under my feet at 2.8 speed I changed it back and now it seems to stick or not spin as smooth. Also, my son came in and was changing the volume on the TV which started to jack up the speed on the treadmill and I had to jump off, not knowing what was happening. It turns out the TV remote is controlling the treadmill! Using the channel changer button turns the treadmill on and off (so i can't change the channels while on the treadmill), and the TV volume control changes the Treadmill speed (So I can not change the TV volume while on the treadmill)! This is Extremely inconvenient, as I was Planning on turning the TV on and watching stuff while I walk... I can not figure out how to disable that. It's too early to say how good the treadmill work, besides the belt slipping under my feet , which almost made me fall a couple times. So far , first impression regrets... I wish I bought the one with arm support that fold down and that I could maybe run on eventually (faster speed options), and one that Does Not have blue tooth speakers for music (which I will never use), but has an on/off and pace control on a touch screen vs. a loose remote. The TV remote controlling the treadmill is a problem.
