The rings that the cups and spoons came on won't open meaning they can only be used while holding the whole set which is awkward.

That's not true, you can open the ring and take out individual spoons and you can also put the spoons back into the ring. The measurements spoons are a great product, amazing value for money. I love them so much 💓

Can I use the cups to heat up small amounts of food on the stove?
