Power Issues on Your Laptop? Don't Ditch It, Just Buy This and DIY!
My dad's laptop was shutting down and he thought it was a goner, but after some Googling and YouTube tutorial watching, I suggested maybe his battery was worn out. We ordered this battery for $22ish, and it arrived the next day. Opening the laptop and following the YouTube videos was a bit rough, but once we got the laptop open, installation was a snap! This battery popped right in and the cable connecting it to the motherboard slid in comfortably. Once we rescrewed the laptop back together, we held our breaths, booted it up - and success! The laptop works great, maybe a little better than before. All around, this battery saved us a lot of trouble and money!

Good replacement battery.
Not as good as the original battery but a good replacement for the money.

The product is exactly what it claims to be!
At first I was worried because the old battery was bulky and didn't look like what I expected. I took a chance and installed it and it worked perfectly. I have had it for three days and so far so great!

Severely degraded after 5 months of use
The battery is useless after 5 months of use. My laptop shuts down wen it reaches 60 to 70% in battery use without warning, consequently loosing my most recent data. I tried calibration procedures and everything I could find on internet for over 1 month, with no success.

Made it less than a year
The battery has started to fail less than a year after purchase. Battery life no longer registers properly on the laptop indicator. System will suddenly shut down when the battery life indicator shows 100% life, same thing the original battery did but it lasted 5 years before failing.
