Good string, but like others better
I purchased these strings recently as backup/spares to my preferred brand (Elixir). I had a couple strings snap due to a small accident on a recently restrung guitar. I picked them up cause they were less expensive than the Elixirs and for the strings I replaced (B and 1st string E) and they've been working out just fine.I do feel that the sound on the Elixir's (at least for the strings replaced) are a little brighter/crisp, but also realize that guitarists can be extremely biased to the way they want their gear setup, so maybe its all in my head. End of the day, I wouldn't go ripping them off just cause they weren't my regular brand.

love them
Most guitarists I know tend to buy the typical 80/20 phosphor bronze strings. These are 92/8 phosphor bronze and it really does make for a nicer sounding string. The unwound E and B strings are bronzed. If you aren't into the nano-webb strings (I'm not)to get long life out of your strings, try these, the do last longer than the 80/20's. I use these on my D style as well as a Martin OOO, sound great on both for bluesy, fingerstyle playing.Keep on pickin'!!

Too stiff for my liking....
I bought these to restring an older Martin. I typically use D'Addario light strings but, since it was an older Martin, I wanted to keep it more original. The Martin mediums may have been the mistake; perhaps I should have chosen the lighter guages. At any rate, these seemed really stiff. They sound good but will wear you out. Make sure its what you want before you get them.....I would recommend them for a person who knows how stiff they are and needs that kind of sturdy performance.... and that wants Martin strings... otherwise, I think I'll stick to the D'Addarios...

I love these strings
I love these strings, They have a nice clear tone, not too muted but not too twangy. They don't last too long if your hands are particularly aciditc, but they are cheap, and have the best combination of sound and playability out of all the acoustic strings I've tried.

Husband has been using these strings for years!
These Martin strings were purchased as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. My husband has an Ovation acoustic/electric "Glen Campbell" model guitar. He has used this particular string for years and finds that it has the best sound and feel for this guitar. He also has a Gibson acoustic guitar and uses this string on it as well. The service was very fast from this company. I am very pleased.

Nice, low-cost string.
Standard strings at a low price. They play well and I personally prefer these mediums, but the light's are nice as well. I ordered both to mix things up on my next restring.

Sweet spot his after about 3hrs of playing on them
Decent strings for everyday playing. I probably wouldn't use them for recording. Sweet spot his after about 3hrs of playing on them.

Pour ce prix ?! ....

Great value so worth a try
As with all guitar strings, they sound best when fitted to the right guitar. I use these on my larger bodied guitars as they tend to have a fuller, more even tone and I use a famous brand of coated strings where I need a little more brightness. As an example my SJ100 sounds horrible with the coated strings but comes to life with the subtlety and responsiveness of the Martins. However, in the end it all comes down to personal taste.

Snapped my G string (seriously)
Got these strings yesterday and put them on my Martin, whilst tuning up the G string, it snapped! I know these things can happen and I'm trying to find a way to purchase a single G string. I couldn't contact the seller, hence saying so here.Otherwise excellent strings, beautiful tone with the medium weight.

Good value
Works fine on my daughter Wilson guitar. She is learning and we are happy with the sound quality and durability. I cannot tell if good quality for advanced player.
