Perfect for CyberPower UPS
I have several CyberPower 1500AVR uninterruptible power supplies. I was confused initially what SLA battery was needed as CyberPower1500 use two batteries in series. In three UPS, they had three different battery configurations, two of which made it look like they had a special 24V battery, but, it turned out that is was two batteries joined together by a plastic insert that hid how the terminal of the two batteries were joined together. Fortunately, one of the three UPS showed the basic batteries, then I tore apart the other two and Voila! they all used the same battery.

Stays charged
Needed to replace a battery in my portable speaker and it worked. Was a little hard to connect the wires to it but it works. Battery stays charged and last for a couple of days playing music.

Exact replacement for CyberPower UPS
My Cyberpower CP1350AVRLCD 815W UPS quit holding a charge after about 4-1/2 years so it at least made it past the 3 year warranty. The OEM batteries cost as much as what I paid for the UPS so I looked around. I found a variance in exact sizes for the batteries and didn't want one too big that wouldn't fit in or too loose that it would move arount. I came across these Interstate batteries while checking out reviews, and it was mentioned that these fit perfectly. I got them from Amazon with coupon savings and they did fit perfectly. Just connected the wires like the were attached on the original batteries.

Slightly higher initial cost.
Slightly higher price that some others offered, but seems to be better construction. Only time will prove whether the cost was worth it. Interstate has a good rep, satisfactory thus far.

Interstate Batteries 12V 9Ah High Rate Battery (F2 Terminal) SLA AGM VRLA Rechargeable
Disclaimer: I've just bought a pair of these for a UPS refresh. They are performing as expected but I have no performance or longevity experience with these. I did the research and going by their advertised stats, these are the ones to buy. Because I'm intimately familiar with their performance and longevity for my cars, I've bought Interstate batteries exclusively. I hope these do same for my UPS.

NOT compatible with APC UPS
Installed a new Interstate Battery 12V 9Ah to my APC UPS. It kept beeping which indicated a fault, overload, or a failed/dead battery. Switched back to the 5 year old battery and no more beep. Charged the Interstate battery to 12.9V using a 1 A charger. Reinstalled again and my APC UPS beeped continuously. Uninstalled and Switched back to the old battery. Update 2/16/2026 Installed a new Mighty Max Battery ML9-12 - 12 Volt 9 AH. No beep. My UPS was happy.

Battery Physically Damaged, Box was undamaged
The packing material used was totally inadequate for the heavy battery. They only used a small amount of paper packing, the battery was not secure. I received two packages, one of them arrived damaged, the other looked fine.
