The platform is a bit raised which made me think they were for girls but they are all made like this. Its not very noticeable but these are extremely comfortable. I got them for 65$ so I dunno at full price but I feel so relaxed walking around. That extra chonk on the platform just nullifies all preassure on the feet. UPDATE: After about a month of wearing I can say that these are THE most comfy boots Ive ever worn! I wear doc 1460s slip resistant ones cause I work in a kitchen with slippery ass floors but I REALLY want these with the slip resistant tread.
