Lee Women’s Instantly Slims Classic Relaxed Fit Monroe Straight Leg Jean

Since these jeans fit the same as Amazons brand I am going to review them the same. Only difference is they are not skinny jeans at the ankles, they are just tapered or straight style. I am thrilled with how these fit. I am 5’5” 180lbs and hourglass shaped. I ordered a size 14 regular. They fit like a glove. I have trouble finding jeans that fit. They usually fit my hips but are too loose in the waist, or fit my waist but are too tight in the hips. These are sooo different because they fit in all the right places and are very comfortable. The zipper works ( lately I’ve had issues with cheaper made jeans) and the material is the perfect balance of stretch and support. Not too stretchy where they lose support , but enough give & support for me. It’s nice to find jeans that don’t have holes or tears in them these days without looking old fashioned. Very nice quality jeans and the perfect length. The material is not too thin or heavy…they are medium weight jeans. When I bend over or squat down the high waist keeps my bottom from exposed at the crack. And for $18?! I struck gold!!!!!!!!

I saw these jeans recommended on BuzzFeed and thought $18 for Lee jeans? I’ve been looking for high waisted jeans in a short length and these were it. They were not wrinkled after being shipped in flexible mailer. They are slightly stretchy but feel more like regular denim - it’s quality material. They fit perfectly and the short length was great on my little 5’2” legs. Even my husband said they make my butt look good (verified by my daughter because you can’t trust your husband). They washed beautifully and i promptly ordered a pair in black. Now I can donate the midrise jeans I hate.

PROS: Good fabric, good fit overall. Waist is a bit large. If they don’t shrink a bit when washed and dried, then I can fix that with elastic.CONS: 10M is a bit too long for my 5’5’’ height. No big problem, as I can hem them. As others stated, buttonhole is WAY too tight, but nothing a seam ripper can’t fix. Pockets are RIDICULOUSLY short, as is the usual case in most women's jeans these days.Overall, I will keep them and continue searching for women's jeans that come closer to the wonderful classic LEE jeans that I have bought for the past 40 years. As far as whether I would recommend them, meh, they will do.ADDENDUM: Another small but annoying CON is the teeny tiny “5th” pocket, inside right front pocket. I cannot get two fingers side by side in it; MAYBE a quarter might fit. Old Lee jeans small pocket fits all four fingers, or keys, or pocket knife, watch, or whatever (a real FUNCTIONAL pocket). New style is just for looks I guess.

I just got these jeans today and have washed them once to get the sizing and extra dye out and they fit great! Perfect length and the fit around the waist is perfect, unlike my other jeans. The price was great too. I only paid $18 dollars for these. Also, the denim is a good thickness, but not like they used to be 30 years ago, which some reviewers have said. They are thick compared to a lot of jeans that are sold today. I have read other reviews that said that the jeans didn't last very long before they became unwearable. Hopefully, these last a while. And lastly, I like the style. They aren't narrow compared to some other straight legged jean I've had. They are styled as true straight legged jeans, and not straight legged jeans that are almost skinny jeans.

The fit is OK. However, because they are stretch and meant to be a little on the tighter side that means that they touch your body a lot more and the fabric is very coarse and itchy. Considering the ratio of cotton to polyester to spandex, I thought the stretch would be more and that the fabric would be a lot softer. The upside is the cost was not enormous. Had I not needed them for something specific, I probably would’ve return them.

Love the fit. Pants are supposed to be size “short” but are very long. (But better than being too short). I can take up the hem.

Needed for my new uniform at work. Very comfortable. Color is is nice and solid. Looks professional and flattering. Actually buying a few more pairs now that I know the comfort and quality. Great price also.

Due to a medical condition I've lost about 50 to 60 pounds in the last 5 months, and gone from a size 18 to a size 12 (and probably could have gone with a size 10). All the jeans I had were literally falling off of me so I desperately needed new ones. I like the way these Lees fit; they really are slimming. They also look good and seem like decent quality for the price. It's been a few decades since I've worn any Lees or Levi's or Wranglers. The thing that took me back to the years when I was wearing them was the buttonhole. I seem to recall the buttonholes were extremely tight back in the 70s, and they still are. In fact, it looks as though it wasn't opened all the way before it was sewn up. That was a bit of a disappointment, along with finding out they're now made in another country. But, all in all, I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase and will most likely buy another pair or two.

El pantalón está muy bien y con un gran precio, sin embargo, y nada más como advertencia, las tallas son diferentes a los Levis, por ejemplo. Lo compré 18 porque esa es mi talla en la otra marca, pero viene más chica, ojo con eso. No los voy a regresar, me gustaron mucho, así que ha bajar de peso para que me queden.

Buenos acabados, comodos, son muy amplios chquen bien las tallas.

Soft comfortable jeans of a perfect length in long for 5.7 and taller women. At first I thought the jeans had shrunk and were too tight but they stretch out just enough to fit comfortably. The fabric is nice like jeans of old, in that they look and feel like 100 % cotton that has worn soft.
