Q: Are the sides of the cake pan perfectly straight? Or do they slant?

They seem to slant very slightly in at the top. However, i cut the immediate top off the cakes to stack them and the sides were perfectly straight when icing them.

Q: Does this come with baking instructions? Like how much batter per pan and cooking times?

Yes, it does come with baking instructions. I used my pans the day they came for my grandchild's birthday cake and they worked great!

Q: Where are these pans made?

These pans are made in Indonesia.

Q: The picture on the box is 4 layers. Would that be using 2 pans torting each, or using 4 pans instead of 2 and not torting?

There are definitely only 2 pans. If you want 4, it's a good idea to order 2 sets because if you order 2 more later, and don't order the same brand, not all measurements are the same as in 6" wide for one brand is not the same as 6" or another.
