I love the Aquagear Pitcher! My mom got it from Amazon as a gift for me, once I did a whole lot of research for finding a filter that was in pitcher form and more importantly removed harmful contaminats, from tap water, including flouride. ( Which is a little harder to find for decent price) I'm so grateful to have found this one!! This has been working wonderfully. I've been using it for about a year and a half and no problems at all. Easy to use, and clear instructions. Easy to clean. Worked well, clear improvement in water quality and the taste. It looks clean, clear and fresh and the taste is better than any other filtered water I've had, including bottled water. Plus this not only taste amazing, and I can feel good about the quality of water I am putting in my body, but also using this has helped me to greatly reduced the amount of one time use plastic water bottles. This helps our environment in so many ways and Aplus all the way! My man and I both love it! Also wanted to note that the filter that came with the pitcher lasted about 9 months plus, and still worked like a champ. I drink a lot of water daily too, and it kept filtering quickly with clean water. I love how we can send back used filters the be recycled! Great idea! Thanks for offering that! I ordered a new one and was simple to change out filters and to flush. The newer one has been great and again taste amazing and I'll def be sticking with this pitcher. Love this and I had no problems at all and I highly recommend.

Great filter — noticeably improved the taste and clarity of my tap water. Easy to install and the filter life is solid. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting cleaner drinking water without the hassle.

I use these to filter out lead, chlorine, PFAS, PFOS, microplastics, and other unhealthy contaminants that other filters miss, and from which I wish to protect myself and that of my family. These filters are third party tested to back it all up of filtration and purity with evidence. I use these for the water consumed and cooked with for both myself and my six top award-winning AKC & FCI Japanese Chin dogs, who remain healthy at Ages 14 and 11 years old in a breed where the average lifespan is notably less than that of my dogs. Why expose oneself and one's beloveds to harmful chemicals in the water one needs for daily life? For me, there is no question that these filters are a necessary investment in the priceless quality of excellent health. I have had my pitcher for around 20 months. Prior to my current experience the pitcher and filter worked perfectly. Some complained that it filtered too slowly, but mine always filtered at a good pace. The water tastes good and the filter lasts for the 150 gallons the company claims and a couple filters lasted a few weeks longer. My issue at present is that I finally got a filter that wouldn’t feed properly onto the pitcher. I have been trying off and on for over 2 hours and it is still leaking around where the filter connects to the water reservoir. I will try to contact the company to get the issue taken care of. It’s past my return window because I buy my filters a couple months in advance so I have it here when I need it. Before today this pitcher and filter would get 5 stars from me, but when a filter takes several tries to properly seal my frustration level begins to raise. Update - Dec. 01, 2020 I contacted Aquagear’s customer support line via email and they responded back with in an hours time. They agreed to send me another filter without any questions. The filter arrived in my mailbox yesterday, unfortunately I’m out of town till Dec. 09 so I can’t put the filter on yet to check it, but I’m hopeful, since I’ve never had any issues with these filters before, that it will work! I’m going up on my rating to 4 stars due to fast customer service.

Very efficient filter ! I am very happy with aqua gear filters . I can drink much more water than before which is great for my health . I would recommend Aquagear to family and friends ! (I already did …)

We live in a town where the city water has an undesirable taste (and smell). We haven't tested it for lead, arsenic, or other contaminants, but the taste alone is unacceptable. We tried using Brita filters, but the taste remained unacceptable. Aquagear pitchers and their filter did the job -- the water tastes clean and pure. With Aquagear pitchers, be sure not to overfill the pitcher. It is possible to overfill it if you had some filtered water still in the pitcher. I think that the total volume of filtered and unfiltered water should not cause the water level to rise much above the bottom of the filter, since the unfiltered water will then have no way to go through the filter. There is no indicator that you have placed too much water. If you do overfill it, some unfiltered water will be included when you pour water out of the pitcher. The filter works acceptably fast when it is still usable. When it starts to just let water drip through very slowly, it is time to change the filter. Our original filter lasted almost 4 months (we are only 2 people in the house, and we only use filtered water for drinking). It was a pleasant surprise to us that we could get a replacement filter so quickly -- 1 day with free shipping with prime. No need to stock up on replacement filters.

Really happy with my original pitcher purchase, so ordered a filter replacement to have on hand when needed (several months ago and now outside the Amazon return period, of course). When it was time to replace the filter, there was a big issue threading on the new filter. I couldn’t get the threads to line up and it got jammed on it, where it wouldn’t screw on or off to try to re-thread it again. I took the cover off the 3 charcoal filter nubs to get a better grasp and so not to break off the cover tabs—2 of the filter nubs broke right off! $50 wasted and not sure I can spend another $50 if a replacement is also defective. Am so angry to spend good money on defective products!

Water tastes great. Have not had any problems, filter lasted me around 5-6 months. customer service is great for recycling they send you pre-paid label.
