Easy to use wireless security system offering great reassurance and excellent value for money
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I was looking for wire free and hassle free security and this fit the bill. The system is small and can be operated easily, with affordable cloud storage through an app. The app is fantastic and allows monitoring of your camera system, this includes two way audio. The motion activation alarm messages work well and give swift notifications. The clarity is excellent and the night vision is good, I had to position the camera to prevent any light reflective ‘kickback’. All in all I’m really satisfied with the device, it’s capabilities, cloud storage and the available support.I’m going to buy another for the back of the house and maybe another the side.If you want wireless security and all the reassurance this brings this is an ideal choice. Great value for me.

Great camera. Quirky app.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have a number of battery powered wireless cameras already installed at the front and rear of my house, but my wife felt that the images were a bit small – a function of the wide field of view and mounting position.I saw this Voger ME720 camera on Amazon and it ticked all my boxes - price, (made even better by a £20 discount voucher!), battery powered, wireless, IP65 waterproof, 1080p (HD) video quality, night vision, two mounting brackets, a 2 year warranty, two way audio and a clearly well regarded brand amongst Amazon customers.Out of the box the camera impressed with its build quality and heft – it has built in lithium batteries that promise 3-6 months of operation on one charge. It comes with two mounting brackets, both of which can be screwed to a wall, but one has a magnet built in which allows the camera to be mounted on it, and the whole unit to be then attached to a metal support of some sort. There is a plastic covered metal ball on a screw that is screwed into the camera body, then the ball sits in a cup shaped depression on the magnetic base, which is heavy and stable enough to allow the camera to be stood on a flat surface. The camera body itself has two brass nuts, one in the bottom, the other in the back, so it can be mounted on one or other of the brackets in the optimum position. The threads are the same as the screws that will be found on most camera tripods, so if there is a need to mount the camera somewhere temporarily without one it’s bases there are options. The camera is managed via an app – Cloudboom - and you have the choice of storing videos and photos taken by the camera either in the camera body on an SD card (not supplied) or in the cloud. I’d suggest if you’re intending to use an SD card for storage you get one that is an ‘endurance’ type that would is intended for car dash-cams, as they are designed to be over-written many more times than ordinary SD cards as well as being ‘fast’, which really means a minimum of Class 10. If you’re not familiar with the concept of ‘fast’ memory, essentially it means that the card can accept data being written to it as fast if not faster than the devices recording speed.I found the app and its design a little quirky, but manageable. You can set up a schedule of times you want the camera in operation, and can initiate a video recording (or take a photo) manually or just leave the camera to respond to movement as an ‘alert’.If you take videos or photos manually you can share them with others via email, etc., but ‘alert’ recordings are encrypted and are not designed to be shared; you have to view them via the app. You can, however, take stills from the ‘alert’ records and share those. If, like me, you feel the need to be able to share the ‘alert’ videos there is a work round. Most recent smartphones can take advantage of either built-in or 3rd party apps to record ‘streaming’ video on the phone, including playback of the ’alert’ videos produced by this camera. In the case of my Samsung phone it’s called ‘Screen recorder’.I’ve raised this as an issue with the Cloudboom developers on the very simple basis that if the camera is performing its primary function – security – there may well be times when you will need to share 'alert' footage with someone, including the Police.I’ve attached a video to this review which contains 6 clips joined together. You’ll see the same scene repeated, two clips by day, four by night, (of which two are in colour, two in ‘night vision’), firstly in SD quality, then in HD. Personally I prefer the HD quality despite it consuming more card memory.I’ve also attached a couple of photos showing (i) the camera mounted on my front door (which is metal so using the magnetic mount), and (ii) a still photo using the in-app facility of taking a sharable screen shot from an 'alert' video.Notwithstanding my issues with the app, I’m really impressed with this little camera. You can take videos and photos in SD or HD quality. The camera has a night vision mode, but I’ve found that street lights provide enough light for it to happily work in colour. The only downside? It has the same field of view as my other cameras, but I haven’t yet told my wife!

Great picture
Using this to protect my car it’s a truly a good piece of kit. No wires to mess about with and it is a great picture in SD or HD day or night.I would have give it 5 stars but the instructions are a bit vague, I’m not tech savvy so it was difficult for me having to try and get it right, insomuch I still haven’t found out how to view the the stuff which is stored on a 64GB card. Finally if you’re looking for a well made security camera then this is for you and if you know what you’re doing then you will not be disappointedUPDATECharged the camera until the blue light came on, says fully charged on my iPad, put it up 3days later needs recharging, this is no a good signUPDATEI fully charged the battery till the blue light came on, I live in a quiet close with minimal movement to record and have it set on HD, the battery lasted 7 days, the picture is good day and night so I suppose that I have to charge it once a week.

Great camera...BUT.....
Update Jan 2021New camera is good. Unfortunately, it just doesn't keep the charge. I have come to realise that having the motion sensor on greatly reduces the battery life. There is no way with the sensor on that the battery will last three months certainly not six months. Great company though and very customer focused.UPDATE....After a few weeks of returning this item I received an email from Voger expressing their concern at my review. They were deeply regretful that I had had a bad experience and assured me that their cameras were fit for purpose. This being said they sent me a new camera as way of apology. The camera has been installed and I will see how it performs and update accordingly. However, I have added another star for fantastic customer service and focus. Well done, Voger.Brilliant little camera. Unfortunately, battery does not keep charge for 3 months - it's more like 2 weeks. Not fit for our purpose. We charged it a few times thinking it may just be a one off but charged it for more than the required 8 hours and still only lasted about 2 weeks (and we turned off motion detection). Great camera if you are happy to charge on a regular basis.
