Great coffee at a great price
We love our coffee and usually go with Union or Rave. However we wanted something cheaper that still tasted great and this is definitely it. Great coffee the beans are consistent, has a lovely lighter brown colour to them and a great creamer and great tasting coffee.

Beautiful beans, great roast, lovely flavour notes.
I bought these beans to use in my DeLonghi bean-to-cup machine. I set the machine to grind them very fine, and set the water to pass through at 90 degrees C in an espresso quantity. The beans make lovely espresso, with fruity top notes, rich caramel mid notes, just the right degree of bitterness (it's a myth that the "best" beans should have no bitterness at all) and a lingering finish in the mouth. There's a decent crema, which is absolutely enough for my tastes - but you should probably try a "super-crema" style bean if you like a massive crema. My beans arrived with me having only been roasted a few weeks previously - you really can tell when you first open a bag of beans, because newly-roasted beans will hit you immediately with that lovely toasty slightly-smoky coffee arome, whereas beans that were roasted some time previously will only give off a slight dull smell when opened. I froze most of the beans immediately in sealed plastic freezer bags, and pour them into my machine from frozen as required. They grind perfectly either directly from frozen or once thawed, and I think it really is a must to freeze beans if you get them in these sorts of quantities. It genuinely does preserve the character and freshness of the beans. However, I wouldn't recommend keeping them frozen for more than 2-3 months or so, because they will start to deteriorate if kept frozen for longer than around 6 months. In summary: really great beans, from a roaster/packager that really does seem passionate and skilled at selecting and roasting. I absolutely think you'll taste the difference from beans like these, versus more generic beans such as Illy's or Lavazza's (both are great beans too, mind - they just don't have the same depth of flavour or character, partly because they are blended for consistency). They're not cheap, but heck, when you calculate a price-per-cup, it's still a pittance by comparison with a high street chain coffee shop! Highly recommended!!

Not too impressed.
Have been making coffee from beans for few months now and wanted to try different brands and blends before settling to one. Ordered these beans after reading the reviews and people recommending these due to fresh roasting dates ( up to 8 weeks) and great flavour. To be honest we are not impressed. The roasting date on the pack says that they are 8 weeks old ( see photo) but when I opened the pack it barely had any fragrance, it really does not have coffee bean aroma. I'm not sure why is that and it could be due to the type of Arabica. But even when freshly ground the smell is very subtle. We use percolator to make our coffee and these beans don't make a good espresso to be honest, it is quite flavourless and sour. Girlfriend makes hers into flat white and it's bit better but still quite savoury. Maybe we are extracting it wrong, but we didn't have this problem with other brands we tried. We got Presto Espresso Roast before this Coffee Masters Exclusive Master Blend and you can't even compare the two in terms of fragrance and flavour. I added the photo to see the difference in beans. It could be that we just prefer our coffee bit more bitter and thicker. If you like your acidy then you might like it. Also the price point is very good.

So Impressive!
I've been going through several coffee bean suppliers recently, some offer a great product but at a high price while others sell at a good price but the coffee leaves a lot to be desired.I think with this coffee I've found the sweet spot, I think its fantastic coffee and at a very reasonable price.Firstly my order arrived very quickly, the packaging is nice and strong, there's a roast date clearly printed and the smell even when sealed is excellent. On opening the aroma was fantastic with a distinct chocolate note, the beans are a good size with the vast majority in one piece and a nice medium roast colour. (See my photo)I grind them to a medium texture for my Melitta filter coffee machine and the coffee is just excellent as an all day drinker. On tasting I don't get the chocolate but I do get a very nice smooth nutty flavour, hazelnut predominately and its dangerously easy to drink. Its just what I was looking for to drink through the working day.I'll definitely be buying this coffee again while also trying some of the other Coffee Masters varieties to see what else they offer. (I'm looking for a really powerful espresso coffee for my favourite dessert Affogato)If you find my review helpful please hit the button below.

A very tasty coffee
I used to drink 3 or 4 mugs of coffee per day, mostly barista style instant coffee that I ended up quite liking. Milk and two sugars and I was happy. Now I need to loose some weight, as most of us do I would imagine, so decided to cut out the milk and sugar for a start and then some other diet changes and so on. The barista instant is not nice without milk and sugar I found out, so decided to take the leap, some decent coffee and so on. I read the reviews, and reply's so decided to try the one most recommended, the Exclusive Master Blend.Bought the beans, as well as a grinder (a blade grinder) and filter coffee maker, and yes I know that is not the best way but its an affordable way to get a decent brew. This coffee is nice, it has a little bit of sweetness with a nice rounded flavour. Not too strong but strong enough. I thought I preferred strong, sweet coffee, but have found that what I actually like is well flavoured, nice coffee.I now take my coffee black, without sugar and enjoy it every bit as I used to. Hopefully my waistline enjoys it just as much. Whole heartedly recommended

Sehr guter Kaffee

Ottimo!
