Love this little oven
I went Carnivore some time ago and this little over is the BEST thing I have ever purchased. It does EVERYTHING. The menu is on the handle of the oven which I think is brilliant. It has very simple buttons that allow you to scroll through temp, time, and how you want to cook, bake, airfry, dehydrate, toast, etc...The light lights the entire over and stays on for a good long time making it nice if you are baking something you want to keep an eye on. It cooks FAST-often takes less time than various food packages state for airfryers/ovens. I have not had anything burn yet-and if you are a fan of making homemade hotwings or drumsticks, this little oven is great for that. It is big-but big in a compact good way. There is a lot of space inside this oven and it comes with two racks, a fryer basket, pan/roasting tray-I don't use the non stick pans it came with as I don't trust non-stick coating in general and I purchased other pans on amazon to use with it. There are some great stainless steel pans and pizza pans available that work just fine, like Deedro 12x10x1 baking sheets w/racks and Deedro 10 inch pizza pans. I have used a standard loaf pan, 8x10 pan, and a 9x13 pan inside it just fine. The menu on the handle tells you which level to cook on based on your selections and inside the oven on the right, the level numbers are impressed in the metal for reference. I DO recommend you clean it as you use it-don't let anything build up. Also, make sure you have enough counter space with a bit of a gap in the back, as this oven vents from behind. I have not used the included meat/temp probe yet, but have had great results all around. Love it.

This oven saved Thanksgiving and Christmas! I LOVE IT!
My gas oven stopped working right at the beginning of the 2025 holidays. I panicked because the holidays were so close, and instead of spending time searching for another oven, I needed to start cooking right away. So I purchased this Ninja DT251 Foodi 10-in-1 Smart XL Air Fry Oven. It is the perfect oven and it cooks absolutely everything, and I don't even need to look for anything else. It fits perfectly on my kitchen counter. It's easy to use, looks beautiful, and it has absolutely replaced my conventional gas oven. If you buy this oven, you will not need anything else! I LOVE IT!

2-1/2 years in, and it's still working wonderfully
I have now had this for 2 and a half years. I use it regularly, it is what I have been using for all my baking, toasting, air frying, and pizza needs. I won't claim that it always performs perfectly as everything needs occasional tweaking when cooking, but so far all labeling has remained in tact, and it does a good job of cooking whatever I put in it. I love that it heats up quickly, then starts the cook timer, which means i can just toss in whatever, set it, and let it do it's thing, meaning that for a lot of cooking, I never have to worry about dealing with a hot oven, and it turns itself off after cooling a bit, which adds to the safety if like me you are often in another room, and sometimes distracted well past the end of cooking. I found it easy to get used to button placement so that I can operate it with the kitchen lights off. There are a number of functions I haven't used yet, and I haven't needed all the accessories that came with it, but they are great to have available. Personally I use the 2 racks, the basket, and one of the baking sheets it came with regularly. If anything I would get a second basket as I tend to use that the most. I have probably used this just as much as my microwave since I got it, it gives that properly cooked flavor you just don't get from nuking something. For the pizza setting, I recommend either collecting your pizza as soon as it's done, or reducing the cooking time, as I find it will burn the top of the pizza if I don't get to it before it self powers off. This is a heavy power draw appliance, it uses most of a 120v 15 amp circuit on its own when cooking. Please keep this in mind. I also have a 1250 watt microwave on the same circuit, I can't use both at the same time, I get around this by starting the oven, then set a timer on the microwave for how long the oven needs to cook plus some variation compensation, followed by the cooking settings for the microwave. This allows me to set both up, and then just collect everything when it's all done!

Just perfect, beautifully designed and economical
I am not a domestic goddess and I don't write a lot of reviews but I had to write one for the Ninja air feuer toaster oven. I totally love it and it has transformed.what I can do in the kitchen!! After hours (probably days) of checking different air fryer toaster ovens and readond 100s of reciews I ordered the ninja dt251 (and grateful.it was on special). I was terrified it would be complicated and I would not be able to operate it, but it came with great instructions, even each box is well labeled and it is very easy. It is so much prettier than I expected and it fits well on our countertop, actually taking up less width than our larg microwave. There is a good 4" clearance under the top cabinets and it does not radiate a lot of heat, yes it is warm to touch while it is going but I am not worried anyone will get burnt on it. I did wash everything and do the preheat as recommended and have used it three times now, for fries, a Bundt cake (my first cake in years!!, it was not a big mixture as I was worried it might do something wierd like overflow out of the pan, but I could have doubled the mixture) And dry roasting (on air fryer mode) cashews. All came out evenly cooked and Jimmy. I love love this, after living with an old gas oven (that was literally taped together but we didn't realize when we bought the house) and it uses heaps of gas (expensive!) And it gives off a lot of heat. Since we are in the throws of other major house repairs we have not even considered a new oven due to the cost, but the Ninja 10 in 1 is a lot less than having a new oven I stalled and I can cook everything we used to enjoy plus more. So glad I was looking at toaster ovens and found tthis, the degree of thought and design in these is so clear, even the nice little feet they have that won't scratch your bench. Beautiful, if you are considering this, I would encourage you to!!

100% recommended
I love this product. I have several Ninja products, and this toaster oven is one of my favorites. I barely use my regular oven now because this one works perfectly, heats up quickly, and is really energy efficient. It is easy to use, has a great size, saves space, and cooks food evenly. The food comes out tasting great, with a nice texture every time. Overall, it is very convenient and worth it.

Fast, versatile, and big
Great toaster oven. We use it to reheat leftovers, air fry, toast bagels, even cook a 10 lb turkey. It’s fast, versatile, and easy to use. I will say it’s only OK at toasting bread and bagels - we bought a cheap slim pop-up toaster to supplement it.

Product well done!
Received our Ninja Foodi DT251 a week ago. Started simple reheating Chinese leftovers. Much better than microwave that leaves things mushy or dried out, depending on the food. Toast function worked perfectly. During setup for toasting, you specify the number of slices and desired doneness. Next simultaneously air fried crab cakes and cauliflower florets (14 minutes at 370). Perfect browning with no burning as would happen with our dedicated (and now retired) air fryer. Simultaneous air fry of meat loaf squares and carrots also came out perfect with no burnt edges. We have started with the time/temperature we used for our previous air fryer and only had to make small adjustments (slightly longer times). In preparation for whole roasting Thanksgiving turkey, we roasted a whole 5 lb. chicken using the supplied meat thermometer. We used Manual mode so we could control the cooking temperature. The temperature sensor controls provide readouts of current meat temperature, target temperature, elapsed cooking time, and cooking temperature. We started with the settings from the supplied cookbook for roasting a whole chicken, which were 55 minutes at 375 oven temperature with target meat temperature of 165. Since the temperature will continue to rise during the 15 minute resting time, we set the target temperature to 160 instead of 165. The actual time to reach 160 was 58 minutes for 5 lb. chicken. Using a standard meat thermometer the internal temperature rose to 172 during the resting time, so next time we will set the target temperature to 155. The chicken was perfectly done and perfectly browned. Prior to purchase we noted several reviews indicating lettering coming off during use or cleaning. To alleviate this from happening, we use a Q-tip to adjust the controls. Another thing we saw mentioned in reviews was difficult clean-up, especially the roasting tray. We found that soaking for a couple hours in warm water and dishwashing liquid did the trip, allowing easy removal of the baked on drippings from the chicken using a soft sponge. Use of parchment paper on the pan below the roasting tray made the clean-up on the pan a snap.

This is the best air fryer I have owned so far
This air fryer is amazing! I have used it to air fry, bake, broil and roast. I cooked a prime rib roast to absolute perfection! The temperature probe feature works great. It is so very simple to choose your program and it even tells you what level to put your tray(s) on. To address others complaints: pre-heating- it does indeed need more time to get to the proper oven temp when baking. It beeps that it is preheated way before it actually is, but guess what- my regular oven takes over 10 minutes to get to temp. Get yourself an oven thermometer and put your food in when it gets to the temp you want. Hard to clean- not really. The glass cleans up very well as does the sides. I will say, the back is more difficult but no big deal. The positive sides of this air fryer make it a wise choice. My previous air fryer was a Kalorik. Biggest piece of junk ever! This air fryer is very roomy. You can put a full size lasagna pan in it (as long as it doesn't have handles-I bought a great one on amazon) It bakes a tray of cookies nicely. Over all, I am very glad I bought this and that I overlooked a few of the negative comments!

A Phenomenal Countertop Convection Oven Replacing our Full Size Oven!!
Our main oven stopped working, and when we were faced with the decision of replacing it, especially in the current pandemic climate, we were a bit stuck on what to do. Should we brave going out into an appliance store to look at a new full size oven? Then go through the process of having the new full size oven delivered into our home? We decided against this and looked into a temporary solution that would tide us over for potentially the next 6 months to a year, and here enter the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Air Fry Digital Countertop Convection Oven! We have been using the oven for about a month at this point, and this product has completely exceeded our expectations! It literally pre-heats in under 1 minute to temperatures around 425 F, which easily is 5 to potentially 10 times faster than our full size oven when it was working optimally! That alone cuts down considerably on cooking and prep times when it’s come to family meals! The size of the countertop oven is also incredible, obviously being not as large as a full size oven, but more than adequate for every meal we have been cooking over the past month for our family of 3! It’s also incredibly easy and intuitive to use, my 3 year old loves to help push the buttons to commence cooking, and if we let him know the Mode, Cooking Temp and Time, even he knows how to get everything started and cooking every time successfully (always with our supervision of course)! I’ve read some of the negative reviews, and I can state that yes, the oven fan does make noise, but it is hardly enough to be considered “too noisy”. It’s not silent or super quiet, but it’s definitely no louder than a normal microwave. Also, some negative reviews have stated the oven is difficult to clean due to the design of the heating elements. I can understand this if food splatter or crumbs build up at the bottom of the oven, but after a month of use, we have not had very much mess result from our cooking, but I’m sure with more use we will encounter some cleaning challenges. We actually just use one of the provided cooking pans placed on the bottom rack for any items we cook directly on the third rack, and this has been able to catch any falling food debris keeping the bottom quite clean. In this way, I feel much of the criticisms can either be easily overcome, or aren’t as bad as some of the more negative focused reviews are making it sound. Overall, this product is becoming one of our most essential and most used kitten items in our household, which says a lot of an item we were only initially looking to purchase to temporarily substitute for our full size oven. To be honest, we’re now only using our full size oven for its stove top, which still works, and we may just continue to use the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Air Fry Digital Countertop Convection oven as our primary family home oven for the foreseeable future! Even when we get the option to replace our full size oven, which to our family, says a whole lot about the quality and genuine worth of this product! So highly recommended, and I’m also now very excited to look at other Ninja Foodi products to add to our kitchen collection!

Amo

Worth every dollar and fun to use!
I did a LOT of reading of reviews, articles and descriptions before deciding on this model. I have never been so excited about a new appliance, except for perhaps my first washing machine, but I digress. I measured my available space options to ensure enough clearance for heat, which I highly recommend. While my upper cupboards have a decorative bar along the edge a scant inch above the oven, the dissipating heat is not significant and they only get warm, not hot. I did discover that the small heat vent at the top of the back part does put out a lot of heat and moisture, so condensation can occur on my tiles behind this, even with over 15 cm/ 6” of clearance. So I put my oven on a piece of parchment paper and it now slides easily whenever I use it - I just turn it left so the back points out to the side away from the tiles. If I had an open space to put it, this wouldn’t be a concern. (See photos of back and side of oven space on my counter) My first meal was a 5 lb whole chicken - oh my it was so moist and flavourful! Perfect with the thermometer and a rack of potato wedges baking above in the basket. I do have my own meat thermometer, but it is super convenient to have the smart technology preprogram exactly how you like roasts, chicken, etc done. That was worth the extra money to have! I’ve since made many meals, roasts, even a 11.5 lb turkey! Baking squash chunks, roasting carrots and other veggies, or air frying them is quick and easy. Fish fillets are not dried out or overcooked once you learn the timings...since we don’t eat fried foods per se, but do enjoy roasted and air fried foods done this way, I bought a second air fryer basket. I couldn’t find a Ninja one, so ordered a Corsori one and it fits perfectly on the rack. You’d not use two racks at the same time as two baskets so that works well for me. (See photo with two baskets in place). Cleaning is a snap - even the baked-on grease or fat comes off readily if you put the pans/racks in warm soapy water right away to soak a bit - nothing a little effort can’t remove. Giving the interior a good wipe after each use prevents a buildup of grease/fat that may be very small droplets, but do accumulate over time. I use a sponge with a plastic scrubbie, nothing that could scratch the metal. My only wish is that there was a better (and free) guide for times to cook various common foods. From what I’ve read, most people reviewed the Ninja cookbook and said it wasn’t really worth the money. I use the internet for ideas, although one does get good at estimating time and temperatures. So, would I recommend this - absolutely! It is nice to look at, intuitive to use after a few times, easy to clean, effective and efficient with heat, and I’m sure will save me money in the long run from not using my huge oven all the time! Now I need to update my microwave, as even this Ninja doesn’t completely replace reheating up a cup of coffee haha!
