JAKARDA 60-inch Extra Long Brushed Nickel Shower Hose Replacement, 304 Stainless Steel Made Long Hand Held Shower Hose With Brass Fitting (60-inch, Brushed Nickel Finish)

This burst on October 30th. I installed it in on September 10th. Return window closed Oct. 7th, 30 days after delivery. Apparently they know that this product is trash and will not last longer than a month or so. I would not suggest buying this product unless you like throwing away $10+ dollars every few weeks.

As mentioned in the title this hose failed for no reason in under 2 months. I didn't drop, pull or bang-on the hose. I heard a spraying noise coming out of the shower and ran to see a stream of water shooting out all the way onto my kitchen wall. The outer metal spiral sleeve had pulled down and the extremely thin and flimsy inner plastic membrane was ballooned out and had a hole squirting water 10 feet out of it. Do not trust amazon reviews, people seem to love cheap products that break almost immediately it seems. Always check the 1-star reviews first.

in use: 2 weeks.I find the 72" shower hose well made, sturdy construction (so FAR!) It curls to approx. 5" circle: very flexible. easy to maneuver, seemingly top quality, durable/recyclable material and very useful, we use a few different styled shower heads and this item helps swap quickly but we just need to use special care to NOT drop/lose the rubber washer, I most likely voided any warrantee by cutting and discarding one of those fixed plastic end protectors for which I find useless and difficult to tighten while afixed. The length is very helpful for shower use AND after shower - enclosure cleanup. No pesky water restrictor! = great for our usage... 1: get wet, 2: shut water off, 3: lather up/shampoo, 4: rinse off, 5: end of shower! Those restricted are only good for collecting sediment and particulates and next to impossible to remove/replace when clogged... and they WILL clog from our rural, filtered well water supply.

The Moen hose in my shower sprung leaks all along its length. I can't even imagine how that happened but there they were one morning after not that many years. A replacement Moen hose would have been over $50, this one was under $10. It was also just the length I wanted: The original was longer and if the shower head were dropped it could hit the floor (and break). If the shower head is dropped with this replacement hose it won't hit the floor.There are two things that I don't like:1- The hose seems to be made with cheaper materials. Well, NSS, right? That's what you get for 10 bucks. It's lighter, the aluminum seems thinner and more brittle. But for less than 1/5 the price I'm OK with that.2- There are no wrench flats. Both ends have to be tightened by hand. I had no trouble but if you are arthritic or have difficulty squeezing and turning or you have a very tight space to work in, the lack of wrench flats might be a problem. Without wrench flats you can't use a wrench or any other tool to tighten or remove this hose. Well, maybe you can use a vise grip or something but you'll end up either crushing the sides or scratching them up.Not as good as the original, certainly, but I'd rather buy this for $10 than the brand-name for $50. That makes this hose a good value.

Nice quality, perfect length. The was a strong plastic/chemical smell to the water when it is/was first turned on and flushed the standing water out of the hose. I let it run for a minute before using on myself. Odor is diminishing as it is broken in.

Perfect addition to our dream bathroom remodel. The hose that came with the hand held shower was very short. We wanted a longer hose to be able to rinse the entire shower and this hose is the perfect length. Easy to install and works wonderfully. Not stiff and cheap like others I’ve seen. Would highly recommend this!

Excellent slinky hose to replace in my RV. I have it hooked up to an RV shower and Oxygenics RV shower head. Does not kink or stay bent. It moves how I want it to move and doesnt impede on my shower head placement. It is lightweight for metal but doesnt feel cheap. It looks nice and has no leaks. I did have to use a little plumbing tape on the bottom connection but that is cause my rv shower connection is messed up and not the hose's fault. 6 ft is perfect size for rv shower and shower stool which I sit on. Decent price.

I bought this to replace my outside shower hose in my water compartment. The plastic stuff one was difficult to use, impossible to coil and still. This is a perfect replacement - could nicely in the bay, much more user friendly for washing down dogs, takes us a lot less room because it is flexible and has the perfect fittings to attach to the RV and the shower head. It is a great addition.

I bought this product due to housing refusing to replace old one with a new one that was the same as old one. Due to back isdues . Works great and when i move if i fo i will be taking it with me.
