Gasket on the frame is really tight and would not expect any moisture to get thru it. We measured the opening in the frame but overlooked the gussets on the crossmembers. That prevented the box from being lowered into the frame. Our truck is a 1998 WL 900; check your clearances. We also tried to place this box in our 2000 9900i International. Although the box fit perfectly, when you dump all of the air out of the suspension the drive shaft hits the bottom of the box. Shims under the box at the frame rails would make it work but we didn't like the look of the box not being flush. You need at least 9 to 10 inches from the top of the drive shaft to the top of the frame rail (with air dumped out of air bags and drive axle sitting on frame stops) to prevent contact with the box. Be sure you have at least 1/2 inch of clearance between cross members for bolt heads that might be sticking out.
