AreMe Charging Station Dock for Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, Series 2 Core - Black

If you bought the Elite Series 2 Core (which doesn't come with the dock) or you’ve simply misplaced your original charging station, the AreMe Charging Dock is a lifesaver. It’s a fraction of the cost of the official Microsoft version, but functionally, it’s identical. The Breakdown: Perfect Alignment: The biggest worry with third-party docks is the pins not lining up. This dock features the same three-pin magnetic connector as the original. When you set the controller down, the magnets pull it into the perfect position. No "fiddling" required to get the light to turn on. Compact & Low Profile: It’s small enough to tuck away in the corner of your desk or inside your existing Elite Series 2 carrying case. It has a nice weighted feel and a non-slip rubber bottom, so it doesn't slide around when you dock the controller. Pass-Through Charging: It uses a standard USB-C port on the back. You can plug it directly into your Xbox console or a wall adapter. It charges at the same rate as the original, taking my controller from "low" to "full" in a few hours. Pros: Elite 2 & Core Compatible: Works perfectly with both the high-end Elite Series 2 (Black) and the Series 2 Core (White/Red/Blue). Strong Magnets: You can feel the snap when it connects. It’s strong enough that the controller won’t get knocked off the pins if you bump your desk. Minimalist Design: No obnoxious "gamer" LEDs or bright flashing lights. It just does its job quietly in the background. Cons: Cable Not Always Included: Depending on the bundle, you might need to use your own USB-C cable. Just make sure you have a spare one handy! Dock Only: This is strictly for the Elite Series 2 which has the built-in internal battery and charging pins on the back. It will not work for standard Xbox Series X|S controllers that use AA batteries.

This thing does the job, and it’s cheaper than the official charger, most generics, and the Razer stand. I can’t believe no one has uploaded pictures of the device next to a controller, so I posted three pictures from various angles. This is a really low profile device, it does NOT come with anything except the stand. No cable, adhesive, Velcro, mounting hardware, Xbox controller, etc. I used a spare braided USB-A to USB-C cable I had lying around, and it charges well. The controller seats itself on the stand magnetically and the unit seems sturdy enough with the attached rubber pad under it. It shouldn’t come off a desk from the weight of the USB cable, but I’d try to find something on the less rigid side to be safe.

I bought this because the usb c port on my controller started to only work at an angle, and it charges my controller perfectly. I paired it with a wall mount I also got off of amazon and it looks amazing on display. It’s super convenient to not only store it out of the way, but it’s really easy to reach over and grab it and be able to put it back. My only complaint is it takes a little finagling to get into a charging position. The magnet strength isn’t very strong and that’s my only complaint, but you get your moneys worth I guess for going with the cheaper option.

Perfect replacement for the charging base that comes with the Elite Series 2. I got an Elite Series 2 Core, it didn't come with a base or rear paddles. I got this and some aftermarket rear paddles. I found that this worked great, as long as I didn't use the after market paddles. I grabbed the ones that came with my Elite Series 1, and was please to find they worked great on the Series 2 Core, and allowed me then to use this base. I love having my controller ready to be picked up and used.

it charges your controller. theres not much else to say. it works tho. is a little smaller than i thought.

Some reviewers complained that they couldn't charge with the paddles on. I didn't run into this issue. My paddles are 3rd party purchased on Amazon as my controller is the core series. The magnet is nice but since the charger is so light, it stays with the controller when I try to pick it up. It still is more convenient than plugging it in each time.

Paperweight. Did not do anything. I think I was sent a defective unit. When I contacted amazon was told I’d just get a refund and keep it Becuase they didn’t want to deal with it.

I absolutely love this charger. It’s exactly what I wanted.
