We do not advertise as it coming with a glass top as they typically do not come with them, as they are often times broken in transit and we do not carry extra stock, replacement glass. The chest is beautiful but it does have some flaws. The legs are not balanced and front doors are uneven. I kept it because the price was reasonable compared to similar items.

The construction of the cabinet is quite flimsy. The doors are not properly hinged. Instead they seem to rest on some kind of a bracket that comes off quite easily. The description said “Philippine” mahogany but the wood does not seem to be any form of mahogany at all. This felt like some low quality plywood. The description also said 24 carat gold leaf inlay. I should have noticed this kind of misleading description. In any case, I have promptly returned it and thankfully received a refund as well.
