Easy to program both the key and the remote, but getting the key cut can be a challenge.
Both the key and the remote are easy to program. Just be sure that you have two working keys in order to program the key. Video instructions are plentiful on the internet.However, I was very disappointed when my local Ace Hardware store wanted $24.99 just to cut the key (with no programming on their part).Took a couple of phone calls but quickly found a close by independent locksmith shop that cut the key for $6. Pretty obvious that Ace Hardware wants to discourage providing your own key blank.

Cheap But Completely Functional
This was the cheapest key/remote set I could find for my 2012 Mustang, but it’s worked out perfectly well, just like the models that are many times the price from a dealership. Just remember that you will have to find a locksmith willing to program and pair them to your vehicle, which is getting harder to find these days.

Muy buena llave
Muy buena llave, cumple du funcion la use en una ford escape 2012 al control remoto le sirven todas sus funciones, puertas delanteras puerta de maletero y alarma de panico lo programe yo mismo en casa es muy facil. la llave esta bien la corte y la mande a codificar y trabaja excelente. Simplemente no le doy 5 estrellas porque el control se nota un poco debil.

Looks like the factory one
It arrived as described, I took key to a locksmith and they cut it, came home a programed my remote, remarkably easy to do.

Has no range whatsoever, poor customer support
The keyfob programmed fine but I literally have to be in the driver's seat for it to operate. I thought it might have been a bad battery so I put a fresh battery in and still the same behavior. Contacted support and he said, try reprogramming again in 1hr and in the meantime leave the battery out of the remote 🤦♂️waste of time.

Both worked fine on a 2007 Ford Focus
Both the Key fob and key programmed just fine on my vehicle.For my car I was able to do this with the following times:Key fob: Turn the ignition to “on” and back off 5-7 times and leave ON when you hear the beep. Push any button on the fob and you should hear a corresponding beep. Turn the ignition off and you’re all setKey: I got mine cut at a local locksmith for like 3 bucks. If you have 2 other programmed keys you just use Key 1 to turn the ignition on and off, followed by Key 2. After, pop in THIS key and leave the ignition ON for about 5 seconds before turning the engine on. And its all set!Saved me so much time and money by saving me a trip to the dealer.

Both the fob and the key works great.
Comes with batteries! Remotes are easy to program. Any locksmith or key cutting place can cut these blanks. Need two original keys to program. Always have 3 keys. If you lose one, you still have two to program another key.
